Flower, that's a really lovely present from your friend; I'm so glad she got you some something so special to remember her by and not some smellies or socks!

:D This made me laugh, my best friend this year has a book, some eyeshadows and ... reindeer socks! That's so lovely though Flower, bet you're glad you opened it now. Hope you're starting to feel better about it all. Hurrah for your lovely OH and the nails and hair!

Tete, I managed to knacker my sewing class dress today. Caught my dangly bits in the seam.

Can't you undo the seam Dinah? (And I'm using all my self control to not make a dangly bit joke!)

Tete - I am a little doughy! I think I've already put the 'okay' amount Christmas weight on :o It's Mr Kipling and his mince pies! I don't know how much longer I can call my tum a muffin top for, it's turning into a cake shelf. Diet in 2010 I think!

Lol I thought you were at your goal weight? You can't have eaten THAT many mince pies!

I think I'm going to have to try to Cinny. Problem is the material appears to have reacted really badly to being machine sewn, I hand sewn my dangly bits.

I wish I could say something productive, but I don't know much about sewing! I'm sure if you carefully undo the seam it shouldn't be too bad?

I was at my ideal weight. Then I decided to take a break from eating carefully when I was on holiday, and that kind of rolled into Christmas time and then one morning I woke up and my size 12 jeans were a little snug. Keep on telling myself there isn't much point fussing over it over Christmas but I'd hate to end back up in my 14s!

:rotfl: at dangly bits, I can't wait to see pics of your and Tete's creations!

One more day at work tomorrow, but we are planning to do some serious skiving. *So* excited about the holidays now, hope you are all feeling very Christmassy (even poor Mrs Poolie - hope she gets well soon).

Oh no, your dangly bits took ages!! Anyway I thought the plan was to sell placemats and the like, so at least you've been productive! I might have a look at my moodboard later on!

Noo Cinny, you should have thrown your 14s out! Ooh, hang on a sec whilst I weigh in, it is Wednesday after all ... miraculously still at 10.4 - hopefully can maintain this whilst eating like a pig if we get out walking a couple of times! Then I want to be 9 1/2 stone by my birthday in Feb! Just shows you though that you can maintain weight while having a bit of what you fancy, as long as you're mostly sensible.

Happy skiving today Lara! I'm stil in bed, going to get up now as I can't stand the cats' pleading eyes, going to get a cuppa and have a think about a to dco list with some nice things on it :D
