Have ou not seen any other jobs you'd like to do Birdie?
I've not really been looking. The recession seems to have hit this area quite a bit and the jobs section in the paper has gone down from about 6 pages to 1 and a half! Yet another thing for my to-do list!
My boss is (secretly ATM) pregnant and when she goes on maternity leave she reckons they'll have to put me in charge officially as opposed to what I'm doing now which is putting up with all the rubbish for neither title nor money! But do I really want to wait until July 'just in case' they give me a little bit of a pay rise?
I was thinking that about the 'book' too, would you be counting calories and thinking about the most efficient position and what'll tone your hips the best!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I forgot to say I weighed in this morning and still teetering around the 10:4 mark, but just had massive turkey dinner and profiteroles and feeling distinctly larger now!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Afternoon all!
I'm busy stressing out about our holiday - no prizes for guessing who the flights are with... but at the moment, there's nothing to be done except wait patiently! And I'm not very good at that
On the up side, I weighed in at fat club last night and had lost 3lbs! (although didn't go last week) so I'm now 9st 10.5 :j Pretty please can you update your chart, Dinah, so I can keep motivated! I've subconsciously stopped going to the gym and am easing myself into the festive spirit by eating and drinking lots
Ack Birdie, it sounds like you work with some right pains in the bum! Whatever happened to gross fingernail lady?LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
I'm guessing the book gives you an activity of the day, and a time scale. Since the book is aimed at women I'm guessing the positions are fairly simple for him and require elaborate strengthening positions for her.
I'd start looking for another job Birdie, if it comes up great, if not hopefully you'll get the payrise anyway. I saw a job today I'd consider going for, first one in about a year, but it'd be an extra 20 mins on my commute each way making it about 1 1/4 each way, not sure I could hack it.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Updated. But can I just say I'm not running a chart again, I'm sorry but I don't have time or motivation. Expecting to start a new thread around new year time.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Ah thanks. I don't blame you - you've got enough else on your plate! I was thinking of starting a thread in the new year anyway to get back on top of things and set myself some targets, so I'd be happy to *try* to run a weight loss challenge.
Birdie, I agree, I'd keep an eye out for other jobs - you never know what's around the corner! it's dangerous to stay somewhere 'just in case', but equally it's not the ideal time to take a gamble on a new job if you're not 100% sure.LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -

Well done on the weight loss Poddle!! If I stay the same til January I'll be more than happy, I do enjoy my food and especially at Crimble! Hoping to lose the remaining 12 lbs by my birthday - that's about 2lbs a week I think? Oh dear, makes me feel hungry just thinking about it!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

I'm still about a stone off my goal, think its considered unhealthy to try to do it by my birthday (1st feb). Like most I'll be reining in the diet and just aiming to STS over Christmas, and starting again in the new year.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Well done on your weight loss Poddle!
Birdie - I suppose at least your job is safe, and you have a possible payrise to maybe look forward too which is better than a wage cut! There's nothing to stop your looking though if you're not 100% happy there.
Eee, Just had a cheeky look on Rightmove and found my perfect first home. It's even got a white picket fence!0
