My overbite is 12mm Flower, so pronounced but everything is straight inside so it doesn't look like ogre teeth or anything. Can I ask why you decided to go for it given you could have lost sensation?
I think mine was around that aswell, may have been 13mm - for some reason that number rings a bell in my head.
I was bullied until i moved to college to do my A-levels, so i guess i let the bullies win when i went for it. I had the brace first and was told i could then make a decision if i wanted the op. Whilst i was alot happier with my appearance i always had those bullies voices in my head calling me every name under the sun.
I was told that if i didnt have the op at the time the liklihood would be that i would have to later in life as the clicking in my jaw could also cause me to have arthritus.
I dont regret having it done, but i did let the bullies win in making me think i would be hideous if i didnt have the surgery.
ETA: I was very lucky that i got all the feeling back, although it did take 5 months for it to completely come back. I am just thankful nothing went wrong!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Aye I was picked on too, and if this has come up a year ago, I think I'd have gone for it, but I've started to accept myself a whole lot more as I am lately, and I think thats ecause mentally I'm moving to a different stage in my life, being married and starting a family, and what I look like doesn't feel so important anymore.
That said there is still a part of me that wishes I had your guts to go for it.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

To be honest Dinah you're taalking about having this done after the wedding and I think if you're happy to have the face you have on your wedding day and wedding pictures then that says an awful lot about how you feel. You're losing weight in time for the wedding, but not having your teeth done. Am I making sense here, I don't mean to be insulting to anyone!!

I have crooked teeth (not too bad) and would like to get a brace at some stage. I didn't organise it in time for my wedding but as a compromise I got my teeth whitened (so did OH). They came out great in the photos and lots of people commented on how well I looked (prior to the wedding). They couldn't figure out what had changed and I didn't tell them either.
It isn't cheap but made me feel great on the day and in the run up to it.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

My point is though that if it were that important to you, you'd be putting the wedding back to fit around it - you can see where your priorities are I think.
Hehe CMD, must have been the flushed and happy 'in love' look people were referring to!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Sounds like a really harsh procedure Dinah, I also think you are very pretty from your photos and have no need to go for it.
Still waiting to hear about the mortgage and the university funding. Don't know how much longer I can last without a tantrum. Need to self medicate with cake.
Also I have been working my absolute behind off, as I have some work to hand in this afternoon  Once it is all handed in, my friend from home is coming down from Sheffield - yay! Then we're going to hang out tomorrow and I am going to collapse in a little heap.
I can't wait until Christmas! Under 2 weeks until the holidays now. What are you getting all your boyfriends as I haven't the faintest idea...?:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -

I'm getting OH a little ipod nano, he's been on about wanting an ipod and dock and getting rid of his stereo so hopefully he'll like it. Need to check up on that actually - I had a parcel sent to the depot the other day and Dad went to collect it and only got a book and DVD - I'd ordered another book plus some kids books and the ipod as well, thought they'd all been dispatched together so need to see if I can track them down... :rolleyes:Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
