Lol we had a YP railcards! I was just suprised that there were about 3 men in their 40s, then about 10 people under 25. I don't get why people pay for first class. All you get is free tea and coffee and they'd run out of milk to have in it!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hi CMD, haven't seen that one, but we're tied to places that don't only do packages (which is over half of them) as we've decided to do the 4 days in Dubai on the way down, then 2 weeks in the Maldives so its a build your own type trip.
Current quotes are £5680 for 4 nights at the Le Meridien Mina Seyahi in Dubai, then 14 nights at the Meeru Island in a Jacuzzi water bungalow, flying with Emirates from Manchester and including all transfers.
or £5228 for 4 nights at the Le Meridien Mina Seyahi in Dubai, then 14 nights at the Kandooma Island in a beach villa, flying with Emirates from Manchester and including all transfers.
Decisions decisions! At least I'm progressing on the whole wedding front though!
ETA: Have checked the weather, it is the end of the rainy season, however with average daily temp still 30 degrees and an average of 6cm of rain in September, people have said not to let it put us off as for 3 1/2 hour showers during the two weeks we're saving about 2k compared to going in the summer season.
You have made me want to go now! Emirates is a great airline:)

Google Meeru. You might not be so jelous. Mum says its getting very mixed reviews. I need to find out if thats right, and decide if we want to risk it, or if the reviews are negative for reasons that don't bother us.
Grrr trying to find a new phone, damn things are so expensive. Wanted the n97 mini but its £200! So now looking at the nokia e71 but its a bit ugly with a poor camera.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Okay initial impressions have me worrying less. The room looks nice, I've found a meeru forum (hope thats not a bad sign!) and 89% positive on trip advisor...Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

LOL at the 1st class, I don't get it either Dinah! Tell us more about wedding progress, mine seems to be going backwards (although OH is now being very on board with helping sort it :T) so I could do with some virtual cheering up talking about yours...The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

The e71 is a good phone if you want email on your mobile so watch out for the extra internet and email package you might need to add.0

Blimey Dinah, you're going all out on your honeymoon (not a criticism at all)! I really don't know what we're going to do...The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

I actually mostly want Word on my mobile so I can make notes when I'm away, wish I could do spreadsheets on one too but thats more towards a computer, but the email would be very handy too so I can check my gmail when I'm away. At the moment I get free unlimited internet with o2, so hoping I can get them to give me a cash sum so I can buy one elsewhere since their online shop doesn't stock them, only their physical shop.
I am very concerned about downgrading the camera mind, mine is an n95 and its a cracking phone really.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

The room looks beautiful
I agree - have a look on tripadvisor. Sometimes people complain about stupid things so that might skew the results.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

That looks nice for your honeymoon Dinah. Greece was perfect for us in July/August.
Trying to think where we want to go next year for a holiday. Might be a last minute booking ie once I get my bonus or we book it on CC and pay it off once I get my bonus. I think Mrs Poolie wants Turkey or Spain. I am undecided at the moment.0
