TPA & CMD, my last few posts from Friday give Lara a bit of advice on BP in quite simple steps... it's www.bingoport.co.uk TPA!

    Thanks Tete!

I can find the slots no problem but I don't know how to keep account of what I have won as it goes back into my balance. Also how do I redeem the points?

  • There's a box in the bottom right when you're playing - after every spin it'll either say 0.00 or eg 10.00 if you win ten points - to cash out points just click the cash in/out button and then click on the 1 / 10 / 100 / 1000 points till you get the amount you want to cash out then click cash out, and your balance in the game will go back to just your points which you are wagering - hope that makes sense! You can cash out every time you win, even if it's only 2 points, if that's easier to keep track of, but I try to keep a bit of a tally in my head as it makes it quicker, only cashing out if I have an obscure number like 269 which isn't so easy to add up quickly!

To redeem - if you want the £5 Amazon voucher you need 8000 points, so once you have that many (played through remember!) just click on Redeem which is under your username and points balance, then scroll down to Amazon voucher and click - simples! Vouchers are sent out by email every Thursday, and I don't think you can redeem on a Thurs because of this.

Morning all. Had a good time in Birmingham, although due to flooding on the lines didn't get home till after 11.30 last night, should have been home by 10. We took cash out on the way to Birmingham and very, very nearly stuck to it! We fell over on a wierd circular motion grater thing which grates biscuits really quick for cheesecakes, its awesome and will make it so much quicker... gadgets are an issue! However it was bogof on them so hopefully can resell the second one.

Also got some great cheese, NIM got oddly excited by a knife sharpener, saw James Martin and came back from Cadburys world with a very restrained pack of caramel nibbles and a couple of bars for pressies. I wasn't impressed by Cadburys world, it was so full you could barely move, and almost all the history of the company has gone to be replaced by wierd advertising fluff about how their product is the best.

New bingoport today, if anyone finds out the changes let me know.

Was the train delayed by more than 1 hour at Darlington?

If so, complain to the train company. You are likely to get back 50% of the cost of the ticket each in rail vouchers which are valid for 12 months.

  • Glad you had a nice weekend Dinah:)

I am still trying to come to terms with the horrible weather here after the beautiful sunshine of Oz!

My favourite place (that I want to go to some day in the Maldives) is

    http://www.mirihi.com/

I would have to go for a water bungalow too! Don't think this one is cheap either! BTW - did you check if the weather is okay in the Maldives in Sept. I have no idea but something to think about!

I'll look into how delayed exactly we were Poolie thanks. We were running ahead of time at one point so I think it probably worked out that we were about 50mins delayed. We were upgraded to first class because the train was packed, people were in our seats and the electronic reservations system was down so no seats were showing as reserved. Anyone solve a puzzle for me? Almost everyone in first class had a young persons railcard. Why?

Hi CMD, haven't seen that one, but we're tied to places that don't only do packages (which is over half of them) as we've decided to do the 4 days in Dubai on the way down, then 2 weeks in the Maldives so its a build your own type trip.

Current quotes are £5680 for 4 nights at the Le Meridien Mina Seyahi in Dubai, then 14 nights at the Meeru Island in a Jacuzzi water bungalow, flying with Emirates from Manchester and including all transfers.

or £5228 for 4 nights at the Le Meridien Mina Seyahi in Dubai, then 14 nights at the Kandooma Island in a beach villa, flying with Emirates from Manchester and including all transfers.

Decisions decisions! At least I'm progressing on the whole wedding front though!

ETA: Have checked the weather, it is the end of the rainy season, however with average daily temp still 30 degrees and an average of 6cm of rain in September, people have said not to let it put us off as for 3 1/2 hour showers during the two weeks we're saving about 2k compared to going in the summer season.

In that case no need to complain since you got into 1st class for nothing extra. 50 mins they will not pay up for refunds. YPR - god knows but obviously they had the cheek to complain and got let in. Just think if you had paid for a 1st class seat and all these YPR people walked in.
