I don't understand, the benefits office pay if you can prove bank charges were because of benefit payments not being made, have issued the payments in my time & have known people more recently to claim back charges. Also the bank should be clued up to this, I know Natwest have in the past so the snowball doesn't grow.

Glad the kids enjoyed the day :)

Really sorry to hear of Chrissie's plight with the BA. I hope that the situation gets resolved for her and her family.

Lovely to hear about the kids and how much they enjoyed their trip to Thorpe Park. Good one!! :T

Came across this info on the DWP website, perhaps Chrissie has already come across it though...

  • Hi its Chrissie here, thankyou for your supportive comments. I did inform the benifit office and took all the proof asked for in fct on 3 different occasions s they asked for different items. I gave up eventually. More recently it happened and again I have taken in my statements and returned items letters and still have heard nothing, once again I took them to the office. I did inform my bank that a payment had not gone in but they never mentioned a refund. I find the whole banking system and debit payments and mistakes by the benifit office so hard to deal with, I just lose where I am at.

I have recieved a letter from Abbey saying they are sending me the statements I have requested, Once I have them I will know the exact amount I have been charged. It would be brilliant to get some back as it would pay all I owe and have some left to get some help with my sons needs. Saving me having to go Bankrupt and feeling like a criminal but committed no crime.

Thankyou to Martin and the team, we had a fantastic time, we all got totally soaked in the end, my kids thought you were all great and sorry for any bruises inflicked by my little darlings (Tim) Oh and 'eyore' has a proud place in our front room. Thankyou

Hi, Chrissie, we met at Thorpe Park over lunch. Sorry we didn't meet again, by the time Martin arrived and filming got done, the park was shut, and my lot had been waiting in the car for a while!!!

You still have my tel. no if you want to make contact or talk about other issues... Hope you get results with the petition too.
