Well yesterday was another action-packed day... not!! :D

Did the morning DX and home to ring the boys before heading off to the gym for the joining interview thingy. Seems like good value to me with a concessionary payment of £17.95 a month which includes unlimited gym, unlimited swim and several different classes too. Had to pay an additional fee of £23.50 to take me up to December 25th which is when the first payment comes out and my gym induction is on Monday. Really looking forward to taking it steady and mainly using rowing, cycling and running machines initially to help the weight loss with a nice half hour swim afterwards. ;)

Bought the boys the JLS album for their birthday yesterday (£9 from Tesco) and a few other bits and bobs including some light bulbs.

Worked on the website for most of the rest of the day and went to bed as it was so cold downstairs. The boiler broke down on Wednesday night and my landlord's engineer came out, diagnosed the problem but as it was under guarantee, wouldn't touch it and referred me to the manufacturer's engineer who still hasn't called despite promising he would yesterday.

Today went to morning DX, have popped round Asda for a smaller weekly shop (£27) and rung the boys before school. Chased the boiler engineer's company again, they said he will call me shortly but I can see I might be without hot water and heating all weekend at this rate.

Not a bad day today really. After my earlier update, sat inside and did a lot of work on the website till the engineer came to fix the boiler. Twenty minutes and a cuppa coffee later, I was back in the warm again....:T

Picked boys up from school and we went straight out to do some geocaching while we still had some daylight to go by. It's getting harder and harder to complete any more than five on a Friday afternoon really before it gets dark. Spent £30 on petrol while I was out.

Watched Children In Need tonight and donated a tenner towards it. Some of it, especially the little boy Elliott who died in Clare House, was a hard watch to be honest but there you go.:(

Tomorrow is a busy one. Get up, breakfast, football training, shower, lunch, meet best mate at football, watch match, drive home, pick daughter up from concert, take her home, bed. Non stop from 7.30am to midnight, I expect.

ETA: I wrote one of the stories yesterday for the website and someone has thought it good enough to send to their local paper up there. If by chance one of the nationals pick up on it, it may be the first time I've ever had anything published by a big paper meaning my career might take a little pleasant twist. Getting ahead of myself now, but there's a little chink of light...

Two more busy days have come and gone since I last updated so best clear those up before this week begins.

Saturday was wall-to-wall movement, I never stopped all day. Pretty much as stated in last post really; football training, a good session as well, before shower, lunch and meeting my best mate for a pint before the game. I was his best man at his wedding in 1999 and we've stayed close ever since even though he's moved from Bristol to Derby to Southampton in that time. (pub round was about £4.50)

Team drew 2-2 then drove home picking up tea on the way home (£4.80). Kept the boys up, met the ex-wife and she stayed at home with them while I picked up DD1 from a Bristol concert. Took her home and went straight to bed after they'd left as I was so tired.

Had to wake boys up on Sunday morning so they were ready for football. Team lost 5-0 but a vastly improved performance from last weekend's match. Home, shower and lunch then the three of us were couch potatos for the rest of the afternoon although we were tempted by a couple of hours geocaching, our legs said "No".

Took them home then I stayed in all evening too. Mate wasn't up for the pub quiz as he has a chest infection so missed out and just chilled out.

Today? I've got my gym induction at 10am where the trainer will show me around the facilities. Might have a session today but definitely will have one tomorrow and Wednesday.

The rest of the week? As above, gym sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and maybe Friday too; taking football coaching session at the school on Tuesday afternoon; Yeovil play on Tuesday night in the County Cup match; off down to the club and DS1/DD1's on Thursday then the weekend with a training session on Saturday and a match on Sunday morning.

Weighed myself this morning and had put another couple of pounds back on so really need to sort the gym sessions out so that the weight loss schedule gets back on target.;)

Had a really good day today and if going to the gym in the morning makes me feel this awake, alive and ready to sort out stuff, I hope it continues.

Had my induction at 10am this morning and stayed on for an extra twenty minutes doing a little more work on the treadmill, the cross trainers and a couple of other machines. Burnt nearly 300 calories off during part one of the induction with part two tomorrow at 10.30am. Went for a swim afterwards and left about 11.30am.

Went home and worked for two or three hours on website stories then went to Asda to do some shopping. Spent about £38 but that included birthday presents, cards and wrapping paper for the boys which was £24 of that.

Have eaten really well today so hopefully with a few days in the gym behind me, the weight will drop soon. It had better do!!

Yesterday was the second part of my gym induction in the morning so had that at 10.30am and did a little session after that. My little TGS key said I burnt off 250 calories yesterday in there and had a 10-minute swim too.

Afternoon was the usual coaching session at the boys' school till 4.15pm then home for tea and then down to watch and report on a County Cup match which the lads won 6-4...:T. Resisted the chips on offer there as I had eaten a spaghetti carbonara before I went down.

Today was morning DX this morning then to the gym for the third day running. Had a strong session there as no time tomorrow to go there as I'm at a meeting all day. Was in there for more than an hour and a quarter, burning 400+ calories in the process. Didn't have a swim as loads of kids about.

Worked on website till 3pm then did school run followed by three quick geocaches before darkness fell. Gave the boys tea, had a cuddle while watching The Simpsons then took them home. Youth team had a cup game tonight so had to write yet another match report tonight, that is four reports this week already..

Tomorrow is a Football League meeting from 10am to 3pm then need to get the last of the boy's birthday presents before their birthday on Friday.

Morning DX completed this morning plus put £15 of diesel in the car today. Back home for a shower then off to a Football League meeting at 10am until 3pm. Lovely food so have had to watch what else I've eaten today.... they served up chicken in sauce, cauliflower cheese, carrots and potatoes followed by blackcurrant crumble and custard....:D

Home by 4pm after buying another birthday present for the boys. That will probably be it present-wise now as it's only a month till Christmas of course so if I use up all my ideas now, I'll have none left.

Tomorrow I'm not picking them up until 7.30pm instead of from school as they're having a birthday party with a few friends around their house. Have to do morning DX and shopping, get home to ring the boys, change and get up the gym by 9am if possible....

Mart, don't know if you visit any national Trust properties but I've seen on f/book that Tyntesfield are looking into the geocaching. Not sure if it's too far from you but justba thought. I guess they probably won't be in place until next year..

Definitely not too far, Dangers, thanks for that. We are running short of local caches now that we have done more than 150 now. We're happy to travel half an hour or more to do some and I've looked online for a few series of caches so we can go out and do 15-20 in a day if we can.

But thanks for the tip.... :D:T

Day of two halves today' busy busy busy this morning and peaceful all afternoon.

Morning DX today then straight to Asda for a top-up shop of £13 before going home to ring the twins. It's their birthday today; I still remember the moment the nurse told us we were expecting twins, will never forget it. They were eleven today, seems like yesterday they were three or four.....

Off to the gym then for an hour. No swim today as the pool had classes in there this morning so back home by just after 10am. Rest of the day was working, wrapping presents and beginning (again) the long road to a DRO. Started the paperwork trail, working out the new amount of debts to be hopefully included so that next week I can ring the CCCS and get a phone interview ASAP before I start paying the fee in instalments. Had seriously hoped to be in it now but a severe lack of motivation has hampered me...:o

Tomorrow is football training in the morning. Team are away to Hartlepool in the afternoon so we're not going there, miles away and a fortune in petrol and tickets too. Staying home and chilling after a busy week.

Sunday is matchday and a quiet afternoon hopefully.

Good training session this morning with a new boy coming along for his second day with us. Looks good, fits in well too so high hopes for him.

The men's team won 1-0 at Hartlepool today meaning a happy, but long journey home, for them and the 55 supporters that went up.

Football tomorrow morning and today was a NSD except for buying a four-pinter of milk from the shop tonight.
