Sounds like life is on the up Martin, I hate January 1st and usually choose 1 December or 1 February as my New Year. It looks like your New Year is 1 November I hope it's a good one.

    Thanks again Tootallulah.... :T

This diary actually started properly on November 1st so it does seem like it's my New Year really and obviously six months later, on May 1st, it's my birthday.

I've just looked back at some of my early posts and quite pleased with some of what I've achieved but a long way to go still.

Right, off to get ready for this morning's football match, here's hoping for a win.

Boys won their match yesterday morning by 3-0 with DS3 scoring the second goal. :D

Went straight down to the football club afterwards to see our team lose 2-0....:(

Today just stayed in all day till I took the boys home at 5pm as we had a duvet day. They were tired and bickering all day so decided to not doing anything hoping they will be better tomorrow...:o

Went to the quiz tonight but it was a poor night after last week's excitement - we won nothing!!

Tomorrow I'm off down to the club to work from 9am to 3pm before going on to see DS1 and DD1 for the rest of the day.

Monday - went to work from 9am to 3pm then off down to see the dustbins after that, getting home at 11pm.

Tuesday - had quite a bit of website work to do today plus DS3 had a football tournament in the afternoon.

Wednesday - more website work, picked the boys up from school, gave them tea and took them to football training.

Tomorrow is another day where I have to get my head down and resume my plan to get organised as soon as possible. My New Year begins in ten days time and I'd like everything money-wise, work-wise and house-wise to be settled by then.

Pleased with today in all honesty. Managed to get the papers done, tidy around the house, write some website articles and prepare for a meeting tomorrow at the football club.

Also managed to get 90% of the house looking good, just my workstation to sort out now. Went shopping tonight which saves another job from tomorrow, will be twiddling my thumbs for most of the morning...:p

Actually finished tidying my workstation last night as well which was a bonus...:T.

Today, got some website articles written before going down to the football club to meet with one of the directors of the club.... quite a positive and interesting meeting to be honest. Glad I did the shopping last night though as ended up picking the boys up at 5pm, two hours later than normal.

Tomorrow I'm going to do the match report from the radio as the team are in Brighton. I might treat the boys to a game of golf if the weather improves on its forecast then in for much of the rest of the weekend.

Took the boys to golf yesterday. First time ever that they've been on a big golf course and although the weather was terrible, they really enjoyed it. It will be a while before they feel entirely comfortable there.. they're used to holes between 50 and 100 yards long... yesterday there were six holes of more than 250 yards, quite a culture shock really.

Weekends are usually really busy in the Smart Mart household so a weekend with no games to go to at all is rare. We made the most of it by having a duvet day again. November looks busy with upwards of a dozen matches to go to and I've got two midweek matches to go to on my own as well!

Took boys home at 5pm and no quiz either tonight as my team mates are both away on holiday. Not attending it next week either as I'm away on holiday....:T

Monday - worked down at the club all day, getting home about 7.30pm.

Tuesday - went out with a friend for lunch today and ended up chatting for five hours..., she was good company though.

Looked at November's diary and I'd better keep up to date with my expenses as it looks like a dear month. I have at least eleven, maybe twelve football matches to go to plus the firework night and also a "Meet the Manager" evening too....

Quick update as early night planned. Went to club to work today and have a meeting with some people regarding betting on the site.

Back home in time for football training and as their mum has had them all half term so far, I've got them tonight...:j which is great. Keeping the boys till lunchtime tomorrow then off out doing papers before back home to pack for our Sun £9.50 cheapie holiday (Friday to Monday at Devon Cliffs!!).....

Last night at home before we go away for our Sun holiday. Off to Devon Cliffs for the fifth or sixth time with the boys; they've been already with their mum this summer but we usually try to go in half term week.

Tomorrow, I'm hoping to leave about 1.30pm as it's a two hour drive from here so in the morning, have the last ever paper round to do (I've given it up as the courier work and the supporter liaison work covers it now) and take out some money from the bank.

Daft thing is that we're coming halfway back on Saturday for the football match, none of us want to miss it. The lads are going to miss their match on Sunday morning and so am I (obviously) for the first time in more than four years....:(

Ah well, could do with the break. I come back on Monday, taking the boys straight to school at lunchtime then off down to Dorset to see my older two children. Monday is the first anniversary of my diary as well so will do a recap if I get chance.
