Sunday - only had the boys till 1pm as had to pick up DD1 and her friend for a concert in Bristol. Dropped them home then brought the girls up and took them straight to the gig. Collected them after the quiz (which we came second in and won eight drinks vouchers) and eventually off to bed.
Today, dropped the girls home after this morning's work (two paper rounds) and got back here at teatime ready for a night of soaps and Ashes to Ashes on repeat.
Spends were £11.28 on a round at the quiz including the entry fee, £8.30 to get the girls a pizza after the gig, £3.30 on a mini shop and £15.00 on diesel.
Tomorrow will be a damn good sort out day.0 -

Very little to report from yesterday as I only went out of the house as far as the garden!!
Mowed the back garden, weeded the front garden and spent nothing - hardly the most exciting day, more a day where I got lots sorted at no expense to myself.
Going shopping in a mo, two paper rounds to deliver plus a quick trip to the post office before picking the boys up after school!0 -
The day went pretty much as I predicted yesterday really.
Got soaked by a hailstorm then rain this morning while doing papers. Went shopping in Asda while waiting for the papers but only did half a shop as want to do a full shop on Friday. Spent just over a tenner there plus 96p in the post office to post an envelope.
Was charged £15 by the bank today for allowing a DD to bounce. Frogt completely that it was coming out and didn't switch the money across in time.:( First bank charge for a while, I think.
Not going to the club tomorrow as I can get more done up here so two paper rounds plus laundry tomorrow.0 -
Forgot to add that I weighed myself today after buying a battery (£1.49 by the way) for my scales and found out I'd lost eight pounds. Have been fairly good but that's a great start considering I've only been going eleven days....:j:T0

Had a good day today for some reason as got plenty done and might have sorted something out on the car front.
Did the two paper rounds today as didn't go down to the club and after lunch, ripped apart an old wardrobe in the spare room and took it to the tip along with the recyclable stuff. Going to tidy up the spare room of all its junk tomorrow though have a busy day ahead.
Courier guy came round tonight for a coffee and a chat. The courier job I do on Mondays has now ended so down on income and also minus a car. He has agreed to sell me a car that he has got and take the money over three months which helps me out immensely. It will be hard to cope for the next three months but I need a car and this way, I'll get one although it will be beans on toast for a while.
Will re-examine all my outgoings this weekend - that said my fuel bill (as in car fuel) will drop over the summer months along with my gas bills too so should be a little in pocket.0 -
Up early today so went shopping before breakfast, not really advised if you are on a diet. Wasn't tempted by the smells of the supermarket though and spent a restrained £18.96 in Asda.
Rang the AA to change over the car insurance and apparently LPG cars are a modification so after they wanted to know the ins and outs of a ducks backside, they'll ring me later to advise me of the premium change.
Collecting the boys later on for the weekend. There's no football at all (barring the FA Cup Final) so we'll try to chill out, have a round of golf at the local P & P and maybe do a bit of training in the rec at the bottom of the garden.0 -
Another day with a lot achieved, not sure what's up with me today...:D
Couldn't do a lot today as trying to sort the car insurance out but managed to go shopping this morning (as reported earlier). Finished sorting the spare room then got on with the main bedroom and the boys room which hadn't been in the plan but there you go.
Picked the boys up from school - they both have coughs and colds so a bit under the weather this weekend. Will pick up the new car tomorrow and take the boys for a round of golf at the local pitch and putt if the weather is okay.
Weighed myself today on the eve of the first two weeks up tomorrow and found that I'd lost thirteen pounds so far.I knew it was good because I've been pretty focused on it but that's a pound a day coming off. I always lose heavily early on in a diet so I know it will slow down but it's a terrific start.0 -

Well done Mart :j:T:j:T
I'm still lurking and not posting much!
Hope you get a car today, it's a nightmare without a car if you are used to one.
