may sound like an obvious answer, but have you tried unplugging the power to the router for around ten minutes, then trying again?
I have that exact same router, and whenever I add a new comp to the network for some reason it either needs unplugged for 10, or occaisionally a hard reset, which would be my next suggestion
the Netgear support pages have a decent ammount of usfull info, including how to perform a hard reset if need be."If you really want to hurt your parents and you don't have nerve enough to be homosexual, the least you can do is go into the arts."0 -

Thanks, router was unplugged over night but will try again. Have not done a hard reset, if i press the reset button will i have to go through the whole setup again, dont know if i can go through that again when i dont know were the instructions have gone.0 -
Try opening IE and type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar this will give you the router options page. Go to adsl settings and check the connection. its under the ADSL Port heading.0

Tried both firefox and IE but can't get on the router option page.0 -
If you cant connect to the router then you wont connect to the net.
1st thing you need to do is get the router page back up and working.
If oyu are running XP click start, click run and type cmd - press enter.
In there type ipconfig /all
It will give you a list of info......
Can you copy and paste it here.0 -

click the link in my first post and navigate to the version of the router you have, and on the left hand side panel there's a link to download the original manual for your router
and it's not so painfull to set up second time around, honest"If you really want to hurt your parents and you don't have nerve enough to be homosexual, the least you can do is go into the arts."0 -
Have a read and see if this helps... You really need into the setup page

Do ipconfig /all > filename
which will pipe the info to a file.
:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
