£2,74 today. Getting lazy as I got back to my old office so I can get apples and sandwiches from the tesco round the corner. Anybody seen the Christmas coupons with Clubcard deal? Put £100 and get £11 in voucher forjust 1 month!?!?!
How does that work then? Do you save £100 cash and get £111 Tesco voucher?

Hi, how does this work. My clubcard vouchers haven't been posted out yet so haven't seen the deal. Will look out for it in Nov - my clubcard vouchers are a godsend at the moment!!

  • Oooopps.. sorry just realised the question has already been asked.;)

Well, I had a NSD yesterday which was great. Going out tonight but I am going to try and keep within my limit. From past experience, my nights out are my downfall with this challenge so I will definitely try and keep an eye on the pennies tonight.

Sat here sorting out cc statements etc and have added up £525 that I paid off towards 2 cc's in Sept. It made my heart sink thinking that I am not going to see the benefits of this money that I am working hard for - for a very long time. It's all about servicing the debts and that's what it will be like for a long while. I feel gutted that this money could be sat in my account and isn't.

    Why don't cc's come with health warnings??

Sorry, this has turned into a bit of a rant.. and my day hasn't even started..

  • Morning all,

I think I am getting too old for this multiple nights out mularky:(

I got back from my trip to Burgh at 1am:eek: so am feeling rather sleepy. Good news is I got the cheap train (£10.40) and my friend bought dinner. I did pay for some drinks £18.30 and got a taxi home £6.20 so all in all that is a big fat red.

To top this all off I have lunch out today (Friends from uni that are only here for 2 days) and then a work quiz night tonight.

So for the next few days I am going to be a spendateer but I promise I will make amends next week.

Now a good front I have had lots of little bits of money come through (free scratchcards etc) so have been managing to pay £10 off my card each day for the 6 days and it is amazing how quickly it is going down :j

    Morning all!

I've not even gotten dressed yet and have spent £3.49! Sent Mr Fresian to the shop for milk, bread and eggs, so that's where that went.

I'm off to the movies tonight using my free cinema pass but still have to pay extra for 3D  I wouldn't mind, but there's no 2D option :mad: :D
  • I have become a boring b*stard!! Still got my fiver. My life consists of cycling to the station- no risk of walking past shops! Getting on the train to go to uni. Train back to the station. Cycling home and doing uni work at home. I have been saying no to nights out, pretty much cos a 5er wouldn't go very far!!! Working all weekend too.

    Does feel quite depressing! *sigh*

Can I put a weekly spend to start on Sunday as I'm a tad late for this week. Am going to try and stick to £30 including train fares (which are £18 on the dot)

Another NSD for me yesterday and so far today! Been trying to remember the last frivolous thing I bought to try and cheer myself up but I'm coming up a blank!

F_F and pointy - I've been playing with visual basic and I love it, find it so simple to code and versatile. C is going be my next challenge  not so confident about that!
