:hello: Hi All!
On track for a NSW this week - laid up with a chest infection this time! Finally shake the migraine and bang, now I can't breathe lol!! Typical, but at least its now and not in a couple of weeks when we're getting married!!
Good luck all xxx
Sorry to hear you are under the weather:(
Is everything set for the big day?
I am off to a wedding on Saturday not sure what I am wearing yet. There is a dress I could wear but it needs to be dry cleaned so think I am going to wear something else to help with the budgeteering.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Thanks pointy, rattling with tablets so hopefully pick up soon
I *think* everything is done but you know what these things are like! Last thing to sort is the cake, which I was supposed to be making myself but I've enlisted the mother-in-law seeing as I'm germified!
I love weddings, I could happily arrange weddings constantly! mmm new career maybe.... Budget weddings are the fashionable thing these days so a "pre-loved" outfit will be ideal!Paddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840 -
Glad bunny is improving now ETO - what was wrong with him? Hugs for him and you.
Thanks Tixy.
Bless him, he had 2 bladder stones (build up of calcium apparently) and excuse me for being graphic but they were in his urethra!!! how on earth he managed that. and bless the vet for getting them out. apparently he was in a worse state than bunny but he was adamant they were coming out.
Sounds like you had a nightmare pp, not good. get letter writing, nothing to lose.
true27 - my OH had to keep fighting off a cold/ bug before we got married and he kept taking a variety of the cold and flu tablets and powders, but it did the trick so if you feel it coming back after you get rid of this bout, start taking some tablets immediately you get the symptoms. And good luck for the day, just stop and take it all in every so often, it's amazing how quickly it goes
Right can i set a budget of £10 please, have had to steal it from our joint account.... sssssh don't tell hubby, though it should be payday on weds.

Ok I am going to sound rather stupid here but where would a rabbit get calcium from? They don't eat dairy products (I don't think). I think you get calcium from some vegetable maybe broccolli or something. Did they say this is just something that happens or has your bunny been snacking on cheese when you weren't looking. I am just curious.

I find it funny that cats love cheese but mice don't even though this is a myth portrayed by many cartoons. Mice like chocolate or so I am told by a friend who had a ninja mouse invader recently.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

No not stupid at all. the dried rabbit food is full of calcium as is kale which he loved (past tense as he is never having it again!!!) and some other veg. (which obviously i didn't know either) and apparently they are supposed to pass any excess calcium, but it just built up into stones. and got stuck. very difficult for boy rabbits to pass not so for lady rabbits. (apparently) and typically for me it is quite unusual in boy rabbits.
He does like maryland cookies too, not sure they have much calcium in!!
Even the fear of a mouse invasion will not stop me having choc in the house.

My cats would much rather eat cheese than mice - although that said i have had a number of headless mice brought in through the catflap this last few months - are they eating the heads for the brains
.
I can just about cope with being greeted by this - and dispatching them with the dustpan, but was slightly horrified last week to arrive home to a dead rat (with head) in the hallway - if it happens again the catflap is gonna be locked and stay locked
I spent today but need to look through the receipt as some things were for friend who will pay me back for her share so will declare tomorrow.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
As they say everyday is a school day. I now know they add calcium to bunny food, I will see if I can astound someone with my new found knowledge today. They will probably just think I am mental.
Anyway no spends so far from this budget everything else came from the food budget. I have my lunch for today so should only be what I spend later tonight.
Have a good day everyone.:jWeekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30
