    Okay this is the last week of a 5 wee month for me so not very exciting this week but here goes:

    Saturday: Pasta with Pesto
    Sunday: Pasta with HM tomato sauce
    Monday: Fishcakes and Peas
    Tuesday: Pasta and HM sauce
    Wednesday: HM Sausage Casserole with Yorkshires
    Thursday: HM Chilli and Rice
    Friday: Fishcakes and Peas

    Paid on Friday. Yippee!!

  • hi i have tried this a couple of times but do not quite get through to the end of the week. Have been of work for the last week and have sorted all my cupboards, fridge/freezer. I have for the last 2 months been doing a spreed sheet on what i spend, seeing it in spreed sheet form i can see where we are wasting money, so i think by doing this will help me use up stuff i already have sooooooooo here go's
    All breakfasts will be cereals,porridge with fruit or toast.
    Today Sunday
    Lunch HM veg & beans soup HM Bread.
    Dinner Have some puff pastry needs using so sausage meat & apple plate mash with spring onions in and veg(not sure what yet)
    Monday
    Lunch same as Sunday.
    Dinner Pork chops, mash & baked beans
    Tuesday
    Lunch Cous cous salad with feta cheese,black olives,sun blush toms, herbs.
    roasted pasta bake with salad.
    Wednesday
    Lunch same as Tuesday
    Dinner Turkey mince and new potato curry.
    Thursday
    Lunch Sandwich of some sort.
    Dinner prawn chow mein
    Friday
    Lunch same as above
    Dinner Sausage Chips and beans
    Saturday
    Lunch Home made soup of some sort
    Dinner a mexican night ,Chili, Wraps, plus dips
    well hope go's to plan mite need to swap some days around depending on who is in and who's not:confused:

    Hi never really post meal plan but am always nosing at everyone elses so thought i would post for once

    Mon: breaded fish , hm vegs peas
    Tues Pineapple pork, egg fried rice
    Wed: Pitta pizza's salad
    Thurs: sausage casserole (slow cooker) brocolli
    Fri: chicken pie, mash carrots
    Lunches jacket potatoes, more pitta pizzas, sandwiches, cheese or ham
  • Just been to Tesco and had a look in cupboards -

    Sun - Yellow sticker scallops to start & then stuffed peppers
    Mon - Veg curry from freezer
    Tue - Quorn stirfry
    Wed - HM Quiche with leftover ham from hamshank, pots, salad
    Thurs - Hopefully seeing Morrissey gig if hes better and using a 2-4-1 voucher in Leeds.
    Friday - HM Pizza with BM pizza dough
    Sat -YS roast beef joint with trimmings

    Breakfast - Ryvita, fruit, porridge, bannana bread.. whatever you can find
    Lunches - Cous cous and veggies / HM soup & BM Olive Bread / HM Hoummous & Pitta.

    Hi Freakyogre :) The basic idea for the pie is here. I still haven't made it with anything other than sausagemeat (in this post I had mentioned I would try it with minced pork, breadcrumbs and herbs) as this week's pie used the last of the sausagemeat from the freezer ;)

    Saturday: was out for dinner
    Sunday: creamy tomato pasta bake
    Monday: Veggie sausage and root veg casserole
    Tuesday: Out with friends
    Wednesday: cauliflower cheese grills, chips, veg and gravy
    Thursday: Slow cooked Spanish chicken style fillets with veg
    Friday: spicy tomato and veg risotto

    Lunches will be sandwiches I will take to work with me.

    Hi All

    I saw this mentioned in Pink and Pennys New OS thread, but I can't find a menu plan thread for this week. Apologies if I have missed it, and please feel free to merge this message with it.

    Anyway, we are having:

    Monday
    B: apple and cinnamon with yoghurt
    L: h/m mushroom soup with h/m bread
    D: lasagne and salad

    Tuesday
    B: toast with h/m marmalade or jam
    L: wraps (with whatever is in the fridge)
    D: beef casserole (in the slow cooker with new potatoes)

    Wednesday
    B: porridge with fruit
    L: jacket potato with beans
    D: h/m pizza

    Thursday
    B: weetabix
    L: jacket potato and thai curry
    D: rissotto

    Friday
    B: crumpets
    L: rissotto (yesterdays) with crusty h/m bread
    D: chicken and mushroom stir fry

    Saturday
    B: boiled eggs and 'soldiers' :o
    L: toasted sandwiches
    D: chilli and rice

    Sunday
    B: whatever hubby brings me in bed (she dreams .....)
    L: sticky sweet chilli sausage baguettes (new recipe - and I can't eat enough of them!!!!)
    D: toad in the hole with cabbage and carrots
