Back from uni.. wrote work into my booklet.. though I need to do a couple of calculations and I don't know what I'm doing.. Oh's friend is a chemistry teacher so I think he may be going to be my best friend in the coming months lol.. Thankfully we only do chemistry in the first year.. I hate it and am more than useless.. I just simply do not understand what I am doing!

I also got through the practical without breaking anything or knocking anything over.. next thing to a miracle that.

I then rang tax credits.. they have sorted my claim and are paying me an extra £50 a week on top of what I WAS getting.. so they had no need to stop my payments.. and they are giving me.. £1500 tomorrow/Friday... That will see christmas sorted, bills up to date and the plastering for the girls room I hope.. the carpet money can come from the £833 insurance cheque I should be getting soon.. need to chase that mind..

I have also just about stopped bleeding again.. it is more than bearable now and .. I'm not going into detail... lol

I am looking at the wall in the bedroom and trying to decide whether it should be sanded and emulsioned BEFORE we stack OH's stuff against it so I can then move stuff around and do another wall.... I REALLY want to do it TBH.. it is incredibly horrible.. but the sanding it incredibly messy and the room is very full.. otherwise it won't be any different come New Year and I REALLY want to get it done...

I need now to sort the housing benefit/council tax benefit and see what is going on there.

I have a list of stuff to do.. but it is in my bag downstairs...

    I have so far..
    Emailed tutor re missed practical
rang sis about checking on children on Sunday
    Sorted tax credits

OH loaded and unloaded the DW.. and I've done nothing yet..

He is fast asleep next to me.. it is actually quite relaxing listening to his breathing while typing up the chemistry report.. is that incredibly sad of me??

I'll go make a cuppa, grab my bag and make a start on todays report I think.. :D

    HH'something' anyone??? 2:30-3pm

I'll do HH 'write about something I have no knowledge of' ..... :D

Kazm - that's brilliant news! I'm really pleased for you both!
Pigpen - glad you've got the money sorted - annoying they stopped it in the first place.
    Wednesday = completed list!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This morning we received a letter in the post from the hospital. It's a copy of a letter that was sent to our GP and more or less spends three paragraphs saying that DS has been very poorly (erm....yes, we'd guessed that) and saying that they're now looking at dysfunctions of the bowel including hirschsprungs. I've looked it up but it says that most are diagnosed by the age of 2. I guess the jury's still out but at least they're now agreeing that there is something wrong on top of the stones / constipation! He's had a good day today.

Right, must go and s/s and look busy so DH doesn't ask me to help decorating! xx

ETA - massive hugs frodders xxxxx

Glad that you've got some things sorted Piggers and that you're feeling a bit better on the health front - that must be a huge relief about the tax credits

I'm going to do my HHSewing while I wait for the WM to finish

Mudders - glad DS is feeling a bit better today - hope they sort a definite diagnosis soon
    I'd rather be watching CSI!
  • Hi all

I slept so badly that I feel really out of sorts. I have managed to de-clutter some home made bread and cream cheese for lunch and open the post (credit card bills this week). And am watching probably the saddest film on tv (how decadent at this time of day!) which is never a good move as I don't need an excuse to cry.. :rotfl:

I have lost the appt letter for the hospital tonight so rang Taunton and think I got through to the right dept, now I just have to find the route online.

Ok, this movie is doing me no good at all so I am going to switch off and sort through some paperwork.

    hugs to all

Nope, lovely to hear you happy :p. Good news on the cheque too.

    Kazm - :T

I have been cleaning the playroom on and off since 9am and I still haven't finished :o. Last 15 minutes then off to fetch the boys.

Parents evening tonight - DS1 is in year 2. His writing and letter formation is not at all clear yet they are pushing him into joined up writing. Is this national curriculum or something? It really isn't helping him atm.
