Thinking of booking to Toronto for next summer and these guys are the cheapest.
I think the planes are Thomas Cook or Air Transat.
Anyone care to advice?
Cheers

Hi There.
I used Canadian Affair to go to Toronto this summer, and I found them to be the best.

We've used them for Toronto and Vancouver, they were fine both times.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

I think i'll book with them
They come to about £2400 for 3 A and 1 C, Man - Toronto RTN
Inc advance seat booking for July 20100 -
Not used them myself but my Mum has twice and was very positive about them.
Worth booking the extra legroom seats in advance (small premium to do so).0 -
I used them to fly from Gatwick to Toronto in October 2009 - Got a cracking price for just £312.0

Canadian Affair is the agent for the flights you've mentioned. Avoid Air Transat, Thomas Cook should be fine.
Have you found any other fares?0 -

I've used Canadian Affair a few times to Montreal (YUL) from LGW and MAN.
Canadian Affair flights are operated by Thomas Cook and Air Transat (a large Canadian charter airline that sells its own packages and flights). If you're booking with Canadian Affair, your order of preference should be the Thomas Cook Boeing 757, the Thomas Cook A330 and lastly the Air Transat A310 or A330.
The Thomas Cook 757 is configured in a single economy class cabin, but is equipped with leather seats and a very comfortable 35" legroom, which is unprecedented in any full service or chartered airline trans-Atlantic service. It is a "narrow-body" jet, much like a stretched version of the Boeing 737 you may have experienced short haul in Europe, so there are three seats on either side of the aisle and no central block of seats. I much prefer narrow body jets to widebodies, because although it might feel more cramped you'll never be stuck in the central block of seats. The 757 generally only serves destinations in eastern and central Canada. Anything in the prairies or west coast will be the Thomas Cook A330 or Air Transat.
Although it's a few years old now, I wrote a trip report of a flight with Canadian Affair and the Thomas Cook 757. It's here: http://www.airliners.net/aviation-forums/trip_reports/read.main/64352 Sadly the photos are no longer visible, but hopefully it'll give you an idea.
Canadian Affair's website has full info and seat maps for all their flights here: http://www.canadianaffair.com/en/airline_partners/ Check the timetables to see which aircraft you'll be on.0 -

PS. Just some thoughts. Try Kayak or Skyscanner to search some dates. And note that the BMI fare you've got will be codeshared with Air Canada, since they don't fly to Toronto anymore. Try AirCanada.com as well although they are (amusingly) generally only competitive if you're connecting onwards to a destination in the USA. It can often be cheaper to buy flights with Air Canada from the UK through Canada to the USA rather than the same flights just to Canada without the connection !0
