    Good afternoon ,
well its almost good evening.had a good day and got all my washing done and dried only have a huge ironing mountain to sort out probably tomorrow ,or better still when I feel like it.Joints are a little better tonight and I'm just off to youngest Dds for dinner and games with the little ones.eldest Dd came at lunchtime and we had a good long chinwag. Her OH and son were at Football and her Dd was at work so I had her all to myself for a couple of hours. We are plotting her sisters 40th which is due in December.
My brother rang me from France this morning moaning about the exchange rate affecting his pension,it seems to have cut a fair bit off over the past few months ,but he is applying to the Gov. in France and apparently he can get a top up over there .He has lived there for almost 7 years now and I don't think he will ever return to England to live.
Right time to get a wriggle on have a good evening everyone
    Cheers JackieO xx

After a busy day, it's nice to finally get a bit of a sit down. The meal was a success, even though yet again my oven has failed to roast a chicken in the time the wrapping specified :s I did learn a few things about keeping things warm while waiting for the bird to finish though, which I guess was useful. The swimming was nice, even though we only did half an hour I'm actually a better swimmer than I thought. I've not really had much in the way of upper body strength/stamina for such things, but I managed 6 lengths today - that's the most I've ever been able to do :) Hopefully we'll be going again so I can get better.

We got back and I got all the ironing done, then had to get in the kitchen to cook a full roast dinner. I don't mind, but it seems like I've spent most of my weekend in the kitchen (yes, even kitchenbunnies need a break ;) ). Otherwise, we've been watching the Moto GP, World Superbikes, etc, and hopefully we'll watch a film tonight.

Thanks for the support - it's really nice (((hugs))) and I do appreciate it. I'm going to make some bacon hash browns for supper in a few minutes, then relax for the rest of the night.

Take care everyone, and have a good night

    Kitchenbunny xx

Bad luck ;) If Icould only have one or the other, it'd be the radio every time - Radio 4 only :T
