Could it be that the files got corrupted as it appears to be using a download manager many download managers create temporary files then create the file you need and delete the temporary one which could be box1 and box20

i feel stupid for briefly believing MS could pull of an OS release without a problem.
im looking at getting the new mackbook pro anyways as my vaio is abit heavy. so hopefully a better experience on snow leopard.
I thought of buying Windows 7, to give it a try (natively, on a Mac).
But then I asked myself, do I want something as important as my computer to be running on software presided over by a mentality like this? Or this? Or this?
Frankly, I find it seriously scary that he is in control of so much of the world's critical computer software. He gives every appearance of being clinically insane.
I just feel a whole lot safer with this guy masterminding my computers and their software.
The fact that he quietly and determinedly ensures that they work simply, properly and reliably is very fundamentally reassuring.

Blimey, you get boring very fast. You are actually obsessed with trying to discredit Microsoft for any reason you can find. Don't you have proper hobbies you can enjoy?0

Being regarded as boring by you is something to which any intelligent person should aspire.

I download large numbers of programmes from Microsoft through technet and have never experienced any of these problems. Where did you download it from? Was it the site you bought it from or did they refer you to a Microsoft one?
As for Steve Balmer being crazy or insane see the following quote from your man“Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes... the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things... they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do. -- Steve Jobs”The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.
