    Dear stevew8975,

No guilty conscience whatsoever as I have done nothing wrong.
If you and the other people on that forum lead such dull lives that you are prepared to watch my eBay buying activities then I really do feel deeply sorry for you.
I am sure you have heard the expression "Get a life" many many times before from other people so I will not bother repeating it but will simply suggest that you heed their advice.
Now that you have revealed your eBay identity to me I can see from your feedback just how much of a seasoned and experienced ebayer you are and how you are clearly in a position to comment.
As for shooting myself in the foot, well I really don't see it that way as there are at most 15 people read that thread. Just how many of those actually sell the kind of things I buy I can not say however even if it is that they all do then it really isn't very likely at all that I would ever come across them is it?
As I no longer sell on eBay there is no problem there either.
Please do not contact me again.

Bless - you would have thought he realised that this ID is a buying ID only.

And only 15 people have viewed this thread? Big difference between 15 posts, and 15 views...!

15 people? 1,332 when I looked. Not a large percentage of ebay users granted but still :rotfl:
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine. :p

3 threads on the ebay Q&A board about him as well, one in particular is about 350 posts long and has been running for 3 weeks!
<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->
  • I managed to tie in over a dozen items he bought to the seller who tidied them up and listed them nicely with lots of lies about origin and price. All Authentic labels guaranteed.
I think there is a ring of them all providing the seller with stock.
  • They've been blocked by me ever since they were outed on Q&A about 4 weeks ago, its a shame they made their feedback private, I'm sure a lot of those negged sellers would be really glad to know about this topic.

I've been watching this on eBay too, what a cretin.

No wonder Royal Mail is in so much trouble, this guy could have brought it down on his own with all the items he's purchased that have gone astray. Maybe RM should be investigating his case specificially as a lot of his items don't appear to arrive - maybe we also should get Watchdog to interview him and show just how many 'damaged.' items are being sold on eBay?

We could really help the UK consumer here ...
  • Very nice! Free speech? What a joke. Both my posts have gone missing also the post reflecting my post!

This idiot is still being investigated on both his buying and selling ID's!

Just a guess, but maybe, just maybe, he reported them.

You see what this buyer actually needs is help - can't you see that?

He is trying to expose, all on his own, the flaws both in Royal Mail and the problems associated with eBay allowing sellers to continuing selling second rate, misdescribed goods, that's all.

I vote that we help him in his crusade, maybe even Martin could interview him: follow him through some of his many purchases and see just how many he is having problems with?

There are on this forum many threads telling people how to make money via eBay and really it is our duty to make sure those people new to the system are doing things properly.
I'm certain that designerbargainsUK must be tiring of doing this himself and would be only too happy to participate in exposing the problems experienced by high volume buyers such as himself?

I saw your post - mine was deleted where I stated which selling ID he was linked to.

So if you are watching Mr ALG, I have reported you to HMRC as you are not registered as a business seller and have made almost £5k in sales in 3mths.

Very good of you to report him Dolly, but unfortunately designerbargainsUK still has the same problem he always has.

His problems have certainly highlighted several issues worthy of further investigation. As Soolin worked out earlier on, this buyer is getting at least 1 out of 6 or 7 items that are not fit for purpose, and, if I remember correctly from his feedback postings on eBay, quite a few of his items never arrived.
Surely, after all the precautions eBay have taken to deter this kind of thing, designerbargainsUK has proven that they are not working.
This is of particular interest to this board, as Martin himself has written a blog on the benefits of ebay selling - if that many people are getting it wrong then it needs looking into!

Just out of interest designerbargainsuk - what do you do with all the rags you have so unfortunately purchased - do you give them to charity or has it saved you on dusters????
