If you find an image on the web that you like... a smilie or whatever (copyright free obviously) then right click on it and choose 'save image as' from the options. Choose somewhere on your computer to save it and give it a name. Then go to photobucket and log in. Where it says 'upload images and video' click 'browse'. In the window that pops up, find where on your computer you saved the image and double click on it. That window will close so back on the photobucket page click 'upload it'. When it has been uploaded it will appear on the photobucket page with 3 lines underneath - called URL, TAG and IMG.To create a link to the image copy and paste everything from the URL box into your post... comes out like this:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v375/artfreak_84/BlobBlue.gif
If you want the actual image or smilie to appear in your post copy and past everything from the IMG box.... it'll come out like this:
I must confess to not knowing what the TAG option does:rotfl:
I hope that makes sense and isn't too simplistic!

Oh no probs Kath
Heres how I do my smilies
Go onto Smilies that you find online... right click on them which goes to properties, copy that, then paste in the IMG box ( top of post that looks like a picture) and paste in there

Been offline today been helping a mate out with a few things today feel all the better for that! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Ok, well that's easier than my method :TPhotobucket is good if you want to keep an image and use it a few times but it is a bit time consuming.
You learn something every day, thanks lynz :TDon't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003Proud to have become debt free... and striving to keep it that way

just done a yougov survey
Yesterday I spent 16.49 as that involved a train fare
Lesson learned from yesterday - be more organised. ( is this possible?) I didnt take meat out of the freezerfor yesterdays dinner last night, so had to ( chose to) buy more for it! So Ive devised, while Im making dinner last night, think ahead what shall we have tomorrow and dig that out of the freezer.
Smilie for the day is
Multitaskign the order of the day with
a) have to go and find a copy shop thats open to fedex some docs
b) clean thoroughly our bedroom
c) start to paint our bedroom
d) take apart lightfitting and clean it
e) try and eat nice food and generally be happy about decorating! ( this is the toughie!)
hope something fun comes in the mail today, Ive only had junk all week ! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Well, mixed news this morning. Ive been turned down for DLA, so thats that, apparently im not ill enough. Never mind, It was a long shot.
Also opnened my mail to find I wont get my referral bonus for my A&L, not sure if its about the referral for getting one, or me referring OH. In any case, theres cash I aint getting!
Off for the union meeting later today, going shortly. Watch this space
On the plus side, our bedroom and the garden are now completed. I have to tidy the spare room this afternoon when I get back and with a touch of luck I can get this to presentation standard tomorrow.
I want as much done as poss, Im going into hospital on wednesday as outpatient, but it may create some pain and the last thing Im going to want to do is any cleaning.
We simply HAVE to complete the hall and kitchen this weekend, and next week, Im having the estate agents round. :j If Im not up to it, poor OH will have to do the donkey work on his lonesome:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most?
