OK, well just to say HI! to everyone!

    And record my weekend

We went to Creamfields, a mate of mine is a trader there, so she siad me & OH could get in free, as she had extra staff bands. We went in the car with my mate and got in free. Took bottles of water & snacks from home for the journey ;)

Creamfields, *really* not my cup of tea at all, and like a muppet I thought, you know what, I might just have a drink. 3x strongbow and as per usual ended up in excrutiating pain and not feeling too chipper.

Anyway on the stall they were really busy, so me & OH helped out serving customers, and we got given £50 between us for doing it, which is sweet - completely not expected! Had a really cool time with them, just nice to see some people I havent seen for ages etc.

And I sold a jumper for a fiver out of my ebay box so £55 up after the weekend, spent 15 on cigarettes, some still left 11 on bacardi ( all still left, brought back) and spent 11  on some gross wimpy on the M6.

All in all not a bad result at all :D

Sounds like you had a sucessful weekend Lynz, sorry to hear about the pain you were in, hope you're feeling a bit better now. Very impressed with your £12.84 spend so far on the grocery challenge - I've spent loads (although it's mainly because we did a big shop & will just top up with fresh stuff for the rest of the month). I don't know how you do it :).

By the way, following my previous thread hijack :D I sold the Happy Meal toy for £4! Amazing what some people will buy. It has really spurred me on to sell some more 'stuff' this week (not sure what yet).

    Take care, Love Snaggles xx

Forgot to mention, Tescos had a HUGE tub of white paint on offer for £7.97 (I think.....about £8 anyway), in case you need any for your flylady decorating challenge! I saw it and thought of you lol :).

    Well, an update from me

I have been in the pits of paintland and I am thoroughly exhausted by this weekend

    So far we have
painted the lounge ( 1 coat)
painted the spare room ( completely done)
Organised scrounging loads of stuff from the parents who are coming next week with
    tablecloth
    2 x lamps
coffeee table which was mine anyway lol
    curtains for lounge
    toilet roll holder
    bath mat

Loads of books which are mine anyway, I tihnk they might have some sort of green metropolis value :T

I am shattered though, just keep dropping off at any opportunity and wakinng up at 6.00 am every day  Evcen though Im still knackered!

Must complete the CV today for the vountary work from home they seem quite interested

Selling chest of drawers on ebay - 6 watchers already only put it up last night!

And im not really telling anyone this but I have only had 2 cigarettes in 3 days.....

  • WELL DONE on all the painting (and the not smoking much). Sounds like you had a productive weekend and are really getting somewhere now with all the decorating. When are you planning on putting it on the market?

your decorating project has inspired me to get my backside in gear with my house and instead of going out (and spending money) I painted my decking (all day) yesterday (I ache so badly today I can hardly move!!!)

    Well
    We have to do still

    a) the bathroom
    b) the hall
    c) the kitchen
    d) the garden
    e) our bedroom
    f) second coat in the lounge.

I am aiming for erm 2 weeks!

We are now "smoking outside" which is driving down the appeal of the cigarette.... I live in hope, and will be having a little word with the GP later when Im going in. I dont physically crave, but emotionally im like "is it time yet" when Ive lit up, it has knocked me sick. If I didnt know otherwise Id SWEAR I was preggers!
