  • As far as Quidco is concerned, it shouldn't - provided the order number stays the same.

I was refused the £100 Quidco on a previous orange deal due to taking a £5 discount on a dolphin deal (applied automatically during transaction).
Reason for refusal - Alternative promotion applied.
So Quidco is nice when it happens but definitely no guarantees.

Ordered HTC Touch 3g for the missus on sat, and got my confirmation of picking up the order from Quidco for £150.

Should be a nice present for the new year (by the time i actually see the cash)

How quickly does this cashback usually go on into "earnings" on Quidco?

I'm only asking because I placed an order last night at 10 to 11, but in the very last stage, when the webpage said "please wait your order is going through", my internet connection crashed and I lost firefox.

Now I later, after 20 mins got an e-mail from Orange saying they had the order, but the feedback suggests the earnings appear 0-1 days, and it's 2pm and nothing yet.

It's due for delivery on Wednesday, and if it didn't go through, I guess I could refuse delivery which would cancel the whole thing, but this cashback is humongous, and can't really let it not go through :(

    Thanks
  • Does anyone know if the £150 is variable?

ie: Does ~£14.37/month contract and £127.50 phone still equal £150 which is of course the entire phone and just over 1.5 months of the contract.
  • Can't find this on Quidco think it might have ended????

Quidco is payed regardless of the monthly contract and / or cost of the phone. For instance, the £150 would have been paid even on a free phone costing £15 a month.

It's a variable amount for PAYG phones.

wonder if this offer will still be on when they release the iphone...rumored to be 10th Nov???? or is that just wishful thinking :)

    That's a no then. :rotfl:
  • A warning to all looking at Quidco cashback from Orange. I ordered an HTC hero a few weeks back with £150 cashback it tracked ok with no problems - yesterday it was declined. After speaking to Orange yesterday I've discovered why, when I carried out the original online application it went through the whole application process, right at the end it gave me a reference number and told me I had to call a number to complete the transaction which I did, I spoke to one of their sales guys who put everything through no problem. It turns out as soon as I called him the online transaction was cancelled and a new phone transaction was started so no cashback!! To me this is a blatant scam! Needless to say I'm sending letters of complaint to orange at this moment but I'm not holding up much hope of getting anything.
So a warning to all, if at any point during the transaction you have to call Orange you will most likely loose your CashBack!
