I have the same issue with dh and eldest boys. I often hide the containers in the veg drawer!GC 2011 Feb £626.89/£450 NSD3/7 March £531.26/£450 April £495.99/£500 NSD 0/7 May £502.79/£500

I've tried to tackle this with ''I need that for ..x' believing honesty to be the best policy with grown men. But it doesn't work. So, I'm working now on being faster than him and getting it into the freezer as soon as its cool. Sadly...things don't always get cool first....:(0

I'm very very lucky, my OH asks if such-and-such can be eaten or is it needed for dinner, bless
He isn't fussy either, dosn't like Trifle or Egg Custards - even I can work around that0 -

My OH is a bit like this, so when I'm serving up I put the excess in a container ready for the freezer so that he knows it's not available to help himself.0

In our house if it's left in the pan/tray whatever it tends to be treated as dishwasher-filler's treat! If I have made enough for leftovers, I tend to get them boxed up - once they're in a different container with a lid on they tend not to be reopened as they lose that 'free food' look. Mind you, when it's been toad in the hole, the cruncy bits of 'hole' around the edge of the tin are MINE I tell you, MINE!!0

My OH is a bit like this but he tries to give the leftovers to the dog! So I make a point now of saying, 'don't give that to do dog, I'm saving it!'£2 Savers Club 2011 (putting towards a deposit

This post made me chuckle. Only last night I said to him, I'll have the rest of the tiger loaf (3 small slices left from tea) as toast for my breakfast.........you can guess the rest!!!! When I couldnt find it I texted him at 8am to ask where it was, "Oh sorry, I ate it!" :mad:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0
