Do I assume the being drunk at work was a blip while he was going through a rough time? Or do I listen to the warning bells and run a mile, even though I really like him apart from that one issue?
Assume, makes an ass of u and me...I'm not sure if he's an alcoholic, possibly just a heavy drinker who got a bit carried away but has sorted himself out now. It does worry me though. I don't want someone who is drunk being around the kids, and I've seen what alcohol addiction does to people, and how selfish it makes them.
Aren't you making a bit much of a leap given how little you know of him?

Have now got Windows 7 installed on my main PC. Had a little play in Staples whilst they sorted a copy of my receipt, and now I've installed it. Little quirk is, if you get the upgrade edition and opt for a clean install, it still does the install and activates it as if it was the full copy! I think thats brilliant and made me happy, as Vista is OFF my system for good!
I take it we're not a vista fan then...:rotfl:

I hate Vista, it's slow, it's useless ,it doesn't do what I want or it freezes and loses my stuff. And I am SICK if having to use something that constantly asks my permission to install something....if I didn't WANT to install it I wouldn't be trying to would i? Pap - Glad you had a nice-ish holiday, how's your relative doing?
Thanks for asking PookyYesterday he was moved onto a 'normal' ward and has been in for numerous operations. His legs and one arm are now held together with pins and plates and they are awaiting results on his back and neck before he can think about moving/getting around.
The actual accident was a collision with a car, he was riding a motercycle. Thank heavens there were witnesses who lay the blame all on the car driver, he didnt look as he pulled off a side street into the main road through our estate. My cousin still wants to get back on his bike though, albiet a new one  My auntie wants him to take a driving test though (he has a full bike licence) which is understandable... However it looks like his is in the clear ~ as long as his back isnt damaged and he can walk, but to be honest him just being here is good enough :T
How is your hubby anyways? Any news on the docs/opperation?
Oh cars being fixed this weekend, thanks to the bank of pap! I have come to realise that many of these unplanned things happen just at the right time for me to lend out all my cash to everyone in the family  Should get some back next weekend though :j0 -

...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

Virtually every computer on sale will do that - they get faster and faster with each generation. unfortunately software gets slower and slower with each generation...
What you need to do is to crank up the RAM - the more RAM the better. A faster CPU will just wait around for the hard disk to get its act together.
Just be aware that with 32 bit versions of windows, you can access only a max of 3Gb of RAM."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
