Well done dinkylou & **purpleprincess** - milestones are fab (shame we didnt take more notice of them though when we were running up the debt hey? :rotfl: :rotfl: ). Shall continue to track your progress from Oz - infact, I think someone needs to collate a weekly/monthly email to me so I know how everyone's doing
..
Er, spent £1.05 on a diet coke & snickers already...
Need to buy lunch..
Am out tonight for a few drinks..
Not really doing well at the moment - it seems most of us are off the wagon at the moment - can someone give me a hand back up?
Got tomorrow off which will consist of a free leg wax (which I was meant to have Tues but changed appt), perhaps the cinema & gym - and some grocery shopping - so shouldnt spend too much!!
I have got quite a few social things coming up - ticking them off from my "Things to do before I leave" list - so thats more money than I would usually spend, but I am not too bothered. I wont go overboard & will still save £££ where I can, but I want to enjoy my last couple of months..
This weekend I am doing an open top bus tour of London with a free river cruise - meant to be £16.50 but had a coupon for £4 off - see, still a true MSE-er at heart...
I must try harder on the grocery front though, been eating so badly this week hence why I havent been on the "Fat Free Wannabe" thread - too ashamed!! Plus it makes me feel generally ill if I eat bad/dont exercise, so must get that back on track too.
Ooops, rambled again!!
Aaaww, will miss you guys!!!!0 -
Just had to pay my Ofsted registration fee, which was £11, but that should be it today!!!0

Well it's my bro's birthday tomorrow and being completely useless I still haven't bought him a present. Therefore I will be scratching my head thinking what he might like from Asda's when I do my weekly shop tonight! Thankfully they have got a George department so I might be able to get him some clothes... perhaps a CD. My maximum spend is £20 which should be plenty.
Apart from that I spent every other penny I had buying my boyf front row tickets for the Cirque du Soleil at the Royal Albert (Village!) Hall for his christmas present. So I'm now skint for months! But, trust me it will be worth it, I've never seen anything like it before and I work in theatre so I see spectacular shows all the time!October make £10/day currently £11.020 -
£2.94 to the milkman this morning.
Yesterday was a mega spend day! We caught a stray tom cat and he went in for the snip. We were then supposed to release him.........but he has injured his paw and the vet wants him to have anti-biotics for 5 days. Sooo although the Cats Protection are paying for his treatment, they didn't have a cage we could borrow.
I couldn't see the poor thing fending for himself whilst poorly, so me and the OH went to the pet shop, and bought an indoor kennel. It cost me £89.99  It will be big enough for the puppies we are getting, so it's a investment really. But we didn't have chance to shop around for the cheapest or anything!
A further £4.49 was spent on a double bowl, again no chance to shop around. Then we went to asda and bought a big crate of cat food for £6.97 so we can crush his tablets in it, a bag of cat litter, £1.19, and a litter tray, £2.78.
That's £105.42 on a stray cat because we are a daft pair who love animals :eek:0 -
Good on you chick-chick but be careful! We did a similar thing 9 years ago with a stray puppy. 9 years on and she's still not been rehomed and is diabetic to boot....she costs about £60 a month in insulin etc but we love her!
I went to tesco to buy stuff for lunch rather than buy a sandwich. I thought this would save me money but managed to spend £20! I guess it'll make sandwiches tomorrow as well and now we can take a picnic when we go to soccer aid on Saturday. Maybe I have saved money?????January budget
Nothing left!0 -
I have just been v.bad and spent £2.19 on a hot chocolate because I feel miserable as sin today and cannot snap out of it  Luckily, I'm away for work all week so everything else I've spent I will get back on expenses (so have been having lush food every day :j ) and I'm very pleased with myself because I'm in London which, before, would have been an excellent excuse for a shopping spree but I haven't been near the shops :T just got to hope I snap out of this slump so I don't start spending all my money on cr*p to make me feel better!:money: 2007 is the year to clear :money:
