    hi all!

It's pay day for me, already been busy transfering money on internet banking so technically I have already spent about £1200! I have decided this month to put some of my debt payments into my savings account so that I can make them later in the month (so I feel like I am still making progress mid month). Other than that I am going to spend £20 on drinks and food with my friends tonight after work.

  • Hi manicdays,

I hope you are feeling a bit better today. I've got a surprise day off today - I had booked it off for an job interview, but i've decided not to go as I don't want the job (long story) so will probably go for a mooch about the charity shops to see if I can get some new shoes.

    Will post an update later.

I'll be going out for petrol (£37.99) and to the library today but I think I can scrape together dinner tonight so the next grocery spending will be in the next month (payday is tomorrow!) I'm also trying to decide where the best place is to take the car to for a check on the exhaust - not so much a money headache as a logistical one.

I've also got an envelope to post (£0.75! )- I'm hoping it'll go on a standard second class stamp because I've got those!

I also spent 202 Boots points, but stayed out of Starbucks and supermarkets. However the downside was tea was awful - a value pie that leaked its meager filling out during cooking so I had just the pastry left and one of the two jacket potatoes turned out to be black inside so half each...
