Has anyone ordered from this site before? The prices look great & definitely the cheapest quick up pool price I've seen. Don't want to order until I know it is safe to do so though.
    Thanks

the above have the 12' metal frame for £89.99 (plus delivery), I've searched now for half an hour and the cheapest I can find the same one is £199.99!! our one from argos went back today as the inflatable top part kept deflating - left a nice little trail on water in argos as I carried it through the store!! (well, have you tried to put it back in the box!!)

I went ahead & ordered from https://www.funkycrab.co.uk & it all arrived today, children are thrilled & currently on the phone begging daddy to come home and fill it lol. that will teach him to disconnect the hose & hide it in his shed.
Highly recommend the company, delivered when they said they would in a strong box & pleasant delivery driver who was happy to carry it & put it wherever i needed it.
Now i'm on the hunt for some chlorine at a reasonable price so i dont have to empty the water every 5 mins,
oh & cyber checkout have the solar covers for £16 (i got one & the pool maintenance kit for £35 including postage)

We are on our 3rd summer of having a 15ft one. We love it and it gets used quite a lot.

We are having a heater fitted to it this weekend in order to take the chill out of it. Will mean it will get more use by the adults then too - it's really really cold, even with the bubble solar cover, but the kid's don't seem to mind too much.

    Couldn't recommend one enough.

15ft one takes around 12hours to fill, we normally leave it filling overnight and it's magically up and read the next morning.

I get the chlorine from a local supplier - use their expertise knowledge and no postage costs too, as the chlorine is really really heavy!

We got a 10ft one for £30 from Costco, came with a pump but had to buy the cover from B&Q for £8. Same make as the toysrus.

Out of interest did you look at the economics of this beforehand. I only ask because I considered getting a 3kw heater for our 13' pool last year. Somebody pointed out that

"It takes 4.2 Joules to raise 1ml of water through 1 degree C, i.e 4.2kJ/litre or 75.6MJ for the whole pool.

So your 3kW heater will heat it at a rate of 1 degree every 7 hours, excluding heat losses."

    Also
"Thinking about it, the pool has a surface area of 10.5 sq. m (PI x 1.83^2). The sun on a bright day gives about 1kW/sq.m, so the solar cover will be about 3 1/2 x more effective than the heater, and will also reduce losses."

This was over on the DVD forums discussion forum. I made do with my solar cover after that.
