Check your local B&Q. I bought one yesterday from Newtownabbey near Belfast. They are reduced from £48 to £23. Not many left though.0

If you go with B&Q I would strongly advise you to stock up on filters at the same time.
B&Q 2005 models were made by Aqua Leisure, who only sell to trade and are US based.
B&Q Depot stores (there biggest) only appear to be stocking filters for the 2006 models.
They suggest you need to change the filters once a week depending on usage.
Mind you - this probably applies to any model, whether ORPC or Aqua Leisure. Intex seem to have a good after sales service though.0 -

We've had a 12 foot intex pool for the last three years and have always managed on one filter a year ( and 1 fill of water per summer with regular chemical treatment) but I do take the filter out each day and give it a good clean with the hose pipe.
I also use a cheap fishing net to scoop any rubbish out before it gets into the pump filter0 -
Ditto Wayne. Only one filter per year, daily scoop out of leaves and dead animals! Hose filter and hey presto. Get my chemicals from https://www.onlinepoolchemicals.co.uk , don't know if they are cheapest but they are quick delivery.0

Yes, don't do what I did last year and try to move paving stones nearby whilst filling it.
Within ten minutes of opening box I had a large unfixable tear in the bottom - ooooops!
Children and OH failed to see funny side of situation.

It's best set up on flat level ground and make sure there's no stones etc under where it's going to go.
Inflate the top ring and pull the pool into shape and fill with a small amount of water then re check the shape , if all's ok continue filling , if not get your shoes off and get in and stretch the sides out.
Anyone else confirm the pool that is in B&Q at £23.98 is a 10ft quick up similar to the picture in post # 2 ?
I tried to get one to replace our 12ft one which isn't going to last another year and have been told by staff at three stores they are £59.98 , might be worth a trip to a store and taking one to a till to check the price.0
