you mean vista to 7, you can only use upgrades for like for like versions, home premiem to home premium etc.

Other wise you have to buy a full version of windows 7 premium.

as a side note last weeks 15 updates have fixed most of my vista related problems. now firefox update the same way that MS did IE8 and I will be super happy. Using IE is like having a cassette player as my portable music device with everyone else having MP3-4s

very little difference to vista, you wont really notice much change, except the layout and of the task bar and a few changes to the way you organise the screen etc. My laptop now does start and shut down at quick speeds and W7 is very very light on hard drive usage. vista with all my programs took about 80 gig, i have managed to setup W7 with all my programs and only used 20 gig!

installation was very very easy - i used the format option to totally wipe vista and install a clean version of W7. took only 20 minutes - compare that to XP install of around 5 hours (with service packs) and vista still used to take me a good 2-3 hours to install.

I purchased w7 home premium. it says one licence on the box, does this mean that it will not work if i put it on my desktop aswell??? i purchased thinking i could load it on both my laptop and desktop.
