A crime number incase she slashes the tyres!? The Police wont be able to do anything until a crimes commited.

OK not a crime number, incident reference number? They will definitely take note and give you a reference number. When I rang them last (there had been no crime commited when I first rang, I just rang them to inform them there was risk of a crime taking place) they gave me a crime reference number. Each time I rang back they asked for my crime reference number.
This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
  • Perhaps they just gave you an incident number? Home office crime recording rules (which are on the news today as being fudged anyway) mean they can only record crimes when they have already happened.

I doubt they'd do anything more than give advice on the matter. I think the best bet's to speak with the local neighbourhood team and let them know you anticipate or are worried of repurcussions. They may pay passing attention to your house.

The problem is the OP's wife could have accessed records in another way. I.e popped into his room.

I'd suggest the OP tells the truth and see what happens.

    The man without a signature.
  • If its covering private property, get some cctv signs up. You could then get one of the cheap cctv cameras from Wilkos if you felt that vanadalism was likely, but tbh I doubt anyone would be stupid enough to chance it with signs up..

Only if you've received (and understood) the caution and the whole interview's been conducted in line with the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.

Doesn't look like it's applicable here.

Eh? !!!!!! has that got to do with it? OP's wife was not under caution in the car park.

Hearsay at best, and I am not talking about the pop group.
  • Sent them a nice formal looking FINE / invoice, claiming damages for harassment and defamation of character, slander etc etc...

That is the truth. At no time did she access his records either via computer or other way.

The other person volunteered this shortly after the accident (she was in a bit of a state). I think shes annoyed because our barrister used this information in court to infer she had other things on her mind whilst driving(Must admit I thought that was a bit sneaky).

The other womans sister works at the hospital (this came out in court), so it looks like they've hatched a plan to try and get wife in trouble.
