My experience is their marketing tell you they are well designed, and are reliable. Certain people are brainwashed by this and the blue dash/clunking door sound.0 -
You really are a pompous character. For umpteenth read 'second' shall we? Let me know when it's OK to post again.
There you go, you cannot even remember how many threads you have started on your quest for a car.
My advice was sound, even if you didn't like it.
Go and test drive a few, then come back and tell us all which car you have decided to actually buy.
You will only get differing viewpoints on here, nobody can make up your mind for you.0 -

No, years of owning them tell me they are well designed and reliable. Maybe I ask what kind of cars you think are well designed and reliable...?0 -

I wasn't disputing your advice, merely your pomposity. I'm not asking for anyone to make up my mind either.0 -
I know it wasn't on your list but Mazda 3
Not the brand new ones but the 04-08 ish plates are great looking cars, comfortable, very reliable and spacious without being a tank. 0 -
Not all of those cars may be suitable for a young family. My friend had to sell his beloved 3 series when No.1 son arrived as the boot opening was to narrow to get pushchairs in and out. Of the four card you list there is two distinct body styles. Maybe you should decide on what shape suits you best, what other features you require and then draw up a short list.0

I wouldn't recommend the Mazda's - parts are horrendously dear, not to mention the cost of servicing them when they are under warranty.Genie

Well lets see, a gearbox that is no good after less than 27000 miles for a start. The horn not working, the clock losing 2 minutes a week. Don't know if this is a fault or not, but when I lock or unlock the door with the remote key, the lights never come on or flash. Every other car I've owned or hired did this. I've had many cars & the Honda Jazz is the only one with any of these faults. Last Honda I ever buy, the most unreliable car I've owned.Nice to save.0
