Hi Chasingsunshine
I've not posted on this thread for a while, just been busy with work, but have made lots of cakes in the past.
Last year, I was inundated with orders and at Xmas, I used tinsel and fairy lights on some of the ones that I did!
Some pice here, but you'll need to click go back to some older pages to see them.

Hope that helps,

I'm making a towel cake for my mum & dad for christmas, I've got a dark red towel bale (festive theme) and was planning on putting a bottle of bubbly in the middle, some festive shower gel & a body puff for my mum. Would you put anything else in? And how would you arrange it? It will be 3 tiers and I have got some nice cream ribbon to go around the tiers but what else could I put on the outside to make it look nice? I had thought artificial holly but cant find any at decent price at the moment and not sure how I'd arrange it... And would you put the puff inside somewhere or use it somehow to decorate? This is my first one so I'm stuck
