Ants...............

A friend of mine just rang me to say she has ants all over her kitchen and what does she do,to which i replied,"i don't know".Am i right in thinking there was a thread on this a while back? I can't seem to find it.Anyone know anything about this,or did i imagine it?

If there was no thread, any suggestions?

I have heard that Talcum Powder gets rid of ants. Could be worth a try before resorting to poisonous chemicals......

Find the nest, boil kettle, poor hot water over the nest, boil second kettle, make a cuppa and enjoy. Ants gone for ever.
