Yes, but did they actually give you a PAC code for you to use? My one was 3 letters followed by 6 numbers. And then did you enter that number on the O2 Web site through the Quidco link or hand it over subsequent to your purchase?0

If you used a Pac Code it worked because you did it online.

From my knowledge...you can transfer between these without the need to goto PAYG.0 -
...a pac code is a way of moving providers. It will not work on the same network.
A PAC can be used to transfer a number whilst remaining on the same network as long as you are changing service provider.
A PAC allows you to do any of the following.- Change Network and Service Provider at the same time
- Remain on the same Network and change Service Provider
- Change Network and remain with the same Service Provider
