Do I get teacher a gift at the end of each term?

Dependant on the age of the child i would wait for the child to WANT to get a gift for their teacher, that way you know they really are fond of the teacher and the teacher deserves it...i think thats when spooky halloween earings or something similar do good, is when the child chose it.
Christmas cards are normally the friendly way to go i think, a handmade one even better if you have the time to help your child!
I would hate to send my child to a school where the parents are doing one better than each other and buying bigger and better present for the teachers. That would make me feel really uncomfortable. And must do for the teacher too!
Maybe something nice to an extra special/helpful/friendly teacher at the end of the school year?Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0
