There's a few good reasoning comments from both sides on that thread.
What is true is that which I mentioned a week ago. Sentiment has changed in alot of people, the perfect time for a "return to peak" reversal.
Be interesting to see if it happens. Maybe after the election. Despite all the comments that we're all going to be fine and all that money we've spent and owe doesn't really matter, I can't quite see it.

I would thank you for bringing it to my attn, but in the same way I won't thank someone who calls people sheeple for buying near the peak, you don't get thanks because you're a direct opposite.

ad44downey and his army of sockies didn't stick around either.

And to think these are the people who said the "bulls" would disappear if house prices crashed again.

don't forget that a 'bull' is defined as someone who didn't and doesn't expect house prices to drop by 30%.

No, that's not right..... It was 50%.

I expected prices to drop by 30% to 35%, before the underlying fundamentals/market drivers changed, and still got labelled a "bull".:D

So a bull is now defined as someone who predicts a market fall but not as large as someone else who is then classified as a bear.

    Now that is bulls.

Have the real fundamental drivers changed?

I'm of the opinion that they've hardly been tweaked yet.
