I have regularly been described as a bull.
The reason is because I still hold a long term bullish view on house prices.
P.S. wasn't far wrong with the 22% was I although I did think it could overshoot, which we havent seen.
the funny thing is that WTFster, Grahams, CarolTs etc... of the world have nothing else to argue about now except for the definitions of a bull and a bear.
where are all those bad news stories that you guys used to get so excited, frothing at the mouth each time that you started a thread...
times seem to have changed... only for the short term...0 -

Did Wookster ever actually admit he was !!!!!! or is that still something that everyone just assumes?Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

Short term being until next May perhaps ?
In the mean time I guess we'll discuss to death a stalemate situation that still lacks a clear direction one way or the other.0 -
I was banned from HPC. My name was dogbox.
To illustrate just what a mean petty minded insecure bunch they are, the y banned me for saying the bears on thier are the type to make sure they only pay for what they ate on a curry night with mates. The guy that was instrumental in banning me is called 'only me'
He sent me a childish email informing me I was banned with no right of reply. How pathetic and utterly spineless.
I'd love it if someone could send him this post to remind him of how petty mided he was to ban me for such an innocous gentle jab.0 -
Which bear on here made a thread possiting the idea bulls were generally not so well educated and non graduates?
Carolt or pobby I think.
Well uber - bears, do you satnd by the claim bulls are generally a little light in the brain dept?0 -

You lucky, lucky so and so.
I got no warning, explanation or notification when HPC decided I was persona non grata.
Subsequently one of the less technically aware mods tried to smear me for using home, parents, g/f holiday let residential IP addresses and a work one.
I suppose they're lucky they banned me, I've since changed the g/f broadband and moved workplaces so they'd probably have wanted to upgrade their firewalls.
I feel sorry for those not as lucky as myself in the property market except the sad sacks on HPC:

Same here. The difference was that no PMs, warnings, whatever got ever sent. Just because we said a full scale crash was not on the cards.
In a way, it just proves we called the shots right.
FWIW, I would probably have stopped posting there anyway as this place is more like a support centre for boats-missers and have-nots.0 -

Indeed.
We all were, as soon as it became clear we were right.
The stated reason was they wanted to portray to newbies that our "arguments had no veracity"....:rotfl:
Oh dear....“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
