Nokia n900 - any confirmed release dates?

Hi

I really want to get a Nokia N900 but as yet I have not been able to get a release date. Has anyone been able to confirm when they maybe available by any of the carriers?

I need to know this as well!!! have seen different dates on different sites, first was the 19th Oct (obviously that was wrong) have also seen 28th Oct. If you look on the Nokia site at N900 pre-ordering it says 'tentative delivery date Nov 2009'
Also want to know if O2 are getting this phone.

USA site says End of October, UK says November.

I think 28th will be the day. I've preorder mine! Can't wait!

Made a few calls today....

O2 - Had no idea about the phone and had never heard of it, was told that its not even in there coming soon database which show's phones to be released up until the end of November.

Voda - The guy had heard of the phone as he's been getting numbers of calls about it, said they where not due the phone in within the next 6 weeks but thats not to say that the phone might be available after that OR they might not even stock the phone at all, also said that some 3rd party suppliers are supplying them on the voda network ie mobile phones direct.

MISSED OPPERTUNITY !
was reading on another forum about discount codes for the nokia webiste which ended today, basically you could have got £200 off the nokia n900 on the nokia website but the offer ended in the early hours and we missed it, alot of people got the offer and the phones will be delivered last friday of this month or the following monday ! GUTTED !

Thanks for the info Duvet-oh well looks like O2 are going to lose me as a customer then. Not sure about going to Vodafone though after all the bad press on here (mobilesdirect only have the phone on Vodafone or Tmobile and really dont fancy my chances of getting a signal on T mobile!)
