My word, who designed that first one?!

Possibly,a failed architect who'd been designing chicken coops in his spare time became more ambitious, while someone on the council saw a way to save a few quid and hailed him as a modern visionary.

Or it could be that because poor people were going to live in these places, no one really gave a toss.

Yes but is it as good as this one!

Well...I think, when finished it woud look quite good :o (hate that kitchen, but thats personal taste) and DH could walk to work. If it weren't for our other interests and want to keep some money for other things, that would probably be a good buy for us.

Why would it have a ''lift'' listedas a feature though?

OK, here's one that no one wanted.....

On originally several years ago with a bit more land at around £450k, it is now empty and fairly good value if you don't mind going outside and over a bridge to reach your bedoom, or alternatively, going through the master bedroom and a bathroom or two.....

Or am I reading it all wrong? That can't be right, can it?

Is Bethnel Green a much desired location, must be I suppose at that price  is that where the Kray twins were from

A fantastic opportunity to acquire this stunning newly built two bedroom house in a much desired location. The property is situated on a leafy road just moments from Victoria Park and Bethnal Green tube station.

That corner ( and I do mean corner here!) is actually a great spot. I used to live near there. Victoria park is stunning and the villagey bit is quite nice. Close to roman rd market too, and the transport is pretty good from there including 2 night buses. The best corner is the bit on the east side of grove rd, not the bethnal green side. the bow side is good because you are close to mile end. I know at that exact spot, its pushing it in terms of Mile end access On that side you are nearer to bethnal green and thats a pretty sketchy 15-20 min walk.

I have it saved on my rightmove - I have to keep watching to see how long it takes till they reduce it again! :rotfl:
