So what do you reckon is EDF's understanding of the T&C?Dear 1carminestocky
Thank you for your e-mail.
Clause 6 should be read in conjunction with the last paragraph of clause five directly above it which states that should you change your energy supplier or tariff before 31st July 2010 then you will be permanently stopped from returning to the online version 5 tariff.
There is not a leaving penalty and once the deadline has passed you may choose to remain on online version 5 or alter either the tariff or supplier whenever you want to. I hope this clarifies the clause for you.
Kind regards
Anthony Murray

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
There is an easy answer here, if Capistan is so convinced that the terms of the contract are as he says then he could always challenge them legally.
It would be an easy answer if it wasn't Capistan/esbo/iamesbo/windmill with whom you were dealing!
He doesn't want answers or logic and no doubt you will be ranted at for supporting the immoral company:cool:0 -
I don't see how that contradicts anything I said Carmine.0

Carmine is nothing if not inconsistent. He slated rightly energy suppliers who impose leaving penalty's and deliberately confusing T&C. Yet he remains strangely silent on his favourite supplier which you and I know well imposing a leaving penalty. Odd.0 -
The only thing that confuses me is how Carmine's interpretation of the T&C differs from everyone else's.0
