This is something that ASDA do not advertise or even tell you about if you do happen to get overcharged . You have to ask at customer service desk at the time of returning the item you were overcharged for. The £2 voucher is also given if you have to return a food item that has gone off before its use by date . But you have to ask :D
  • Yes Asda have been giving this for a long time - I always ask for it as 'inconvenience money' when you have to queue again for ages to get the overcharge refunded!!!! They give it even if the amount of the overcharge is quite small!
  • I didn't realise that u could get £2 on top of your refund, mind saying that I would like more that £2 as some queue take more than 30 mins in order to get a refund.

  • My Asda are appalling and they have never done this.

So is mine in wembley. I try not to do a big shop there too often because I will always be overcharged on at least one item.
I've never been offered a giftcard either
Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

Asda is really terrible at offering refund and the £2 gift card, wasn't even offered that yesterday when I had to return some rotten meat to them yesterday even though I asked for it.
    I hate migraines.
  • I have been overpriced in 3 differenent Asdas - Dundee, Edinburgh and Dunfermline and not one of them offered or mentioned the £2 gift card. Terrible customer service and not only that you have to wait at least 10-15 minutes to be seen.

i called cs the other day as i was overpriced on 3 items and the cs girl only gave me one £2 card (had to ask for it). this has happened before to me and i know that its for EACH ITEM. she said it wasnt so i called a very nice man, they answered quickly and did not argue. yes you must ask for card and yes it is for each item. worth looking out for girls !!

In my Asda, it depends who is on the desk, some times they give the voucher but most of the time they say that they don't do it anymore, all they do is refund the difference...No consistency, even talking to the manager doesn't help.
