I had £45 declined with Esure - till now everything has gone through ok. Didn't think I had any comeback though, it was rejected instantly.

Have tried to think of it as a bonus if i get any cashback.

Thanks for your pm's Ruthha, I will have a look tonight as I'm at work now and maybe open a query, I may have left it too late though as I think it was about end of August time. Who's Jules BTW?

    Hi,

I am Jules - Quidco Community Support Manager.

Whilst I am more than happy to investigate issues and deal with complaints, you are best raising a ticket through the normal channels as we have an excellent ticketing system with a 24 hour turnaround.

Please do not think that I am able to overturn decline decisions made by merchants, as I am not. Once the cashback has been credited elsewhere, such as to a comparison site, or even the merchant’s own site, as can happen with saved quotes, there is nothing we can do. Merchants usually have a valid reason for declining transactions and, whilst we share your disappointment when this happens, all we can do is to send off an earnings enquiry for you to request the reason for the decline from the merchant. As regards the current AA declined transactions, their affiliate network are addressing this as some have actually been declined in error on this occasion. They realised their mistake straight away and they are amending all affected transactions.

You can minimise the risk of the cashback being declined by making sure you always clear cookies, browser history etc. prior to shopping through Quidco or, indeed, any cashback site. Ideally, use a separate browser just for Quidco shopping if you can. Also, do make sure you stick to the terms and conditions of the offer, by reading the warnings on the merchants’ pages and do not use saved quotes.

More in-depth advice can be found in our help pages.

    Kind regards
    Jules

Thanks Jules, I have raised a ticket as you advised although I think it may be invalid as 45 days have passed, but I guess I have nothing to lose:confused:

BTW I definately didn't use a comparison site with Esure, their adverts pride themselves on not being on any;)

    Hey Jules,

Thanks for your replies. My concern is that i have fulfilled the criteria's laid out by the merchants and by Quidco ie i still have my A&L account i opened a year ago, am still with EON a year on, still have my Co-Op home insurance etc.

    However, i have still not received/had declined £50, £70 and another £70.

I always clear cookies etc and what is suspicious/annoying is that all other transactions for less amounts made on around the same time have all been paid.

I have had exactly the same, validated and then declined. I am sick to death of these problems, I really trusted Quidco but they have let me down.
No Matter what you do there will be critics.
