AA cashback declined!-- Quidco

i purchased Home insurance from AA via Quidco. Followed all the tips regarding clearing cookies and suchlike as on their website.
Got my documents from the AA. the transaction was tracked within a day and validated within 10 days
great. £50 cashback sounded good.:j
on day 15 from the start of the insurance--(incidently just after the cooling off period from the AA) the cashback, which had been validated has been declined. for no apparent reason.
i know that cashback is not guaranteed, i have used Quidco before with good payment record. But for a transaction to be declined just after the cooling of period. i smell a fish.
As i was googling AA and quidco, i have discovered that there were similar problems in 2007. i do wonder if AA is up to playing similar games.
Quidco has been good with dealing with queries in the past and i hope are now again. me thinks the AA is upto mischief:cool:. Anyone else with similar issues with the AA and cashback via any site?

Have you queried it with Quidco. I have now has in total £1099 from Quidco and have never lost a payment yet. Closest I came was this year with a Qantas payment of £42. I tried the auto query feature about 3 times and got no where. The last time I tried I used the facility where you seem to be communicating with an actual person. Anyway they took all the details and I got the payment this month. I have actually has payments from Hotels which I later had to cancel.

have you raised a ticket with Quidco?

FYI, fat cheese's 100% g'tee isn't 100%, like everything , you need to read the small print.

Keep updating here once you raise a ticket, you may get more help as opposed to some usless "told you so " type of posts

I had tracking problems with Aviva car insurance, cancelled it on day 7 and got my £193 back on 4th day so credit to Aviva for that. I was going too use them again using a dedicated browser but having 2nd thoughts just noticed cashback has gone down from £70 to £55 this was through topcashback

I definitely raise a ticket with Quidco if I was you insurance does normally taken time to payout but usually tracks after a couple of days

    Hi,

@cocktail - we have had some problems with AA transactions over the last couple of weeks, where some were declined in error by the affiliate network. However, they did realise the error straight away and have been going back in and updating the transactions, over the last couple of days. We are expecting them to have completed this exercise by the end of this week, at which point all incorrectly declined transactions will have been amended.

I see you have raised a ticket, but I cannot trace this without your Quidco user name. Are you OK to pm me with this please? I can then personally look at your transaction for you.

    Kind regards
    Jules

    Nice work on this Quidco!

This happened to me with EON, £70 cashback declined for no valid reason and no matter how many tickets i submitted, Quidco tell me they won't be paying me!! :( (now completed a year with EON, so have fulfilled my part!!)

Try once more by opening a ticket to jules. If this does not work write to eon direct and tell them you have not received your cashback , include all copy tickets from Quidco dates etc. May take a couple of weeks to get a reply but keep trying. PM me if your stuck already have sample letters .
