millsmum - keep ringing them!
Honestly, if you are firm and polite and explain that they have £150 of your hard-earned cash, and make sure you ask for the full name of the operator you speak to, and tell them you're happy to wait on the line while they ring the store, they'll sort it for you.0 -
I have rung them twice today, still no sign of my money. they are a little stupid, I have been refunded for all four deliveries which means that when they credit my cash back to my account then i will be £7.98 better off. I have also earned points on the two extra deliveries which i am hoping they will not recover. I now have a £15 credit to use on my next delivery!!!
I would just like to see my cash appear some time soon as I am now on upaid maternity leave, not that I am every rich enought to lose £150.00.
maybe I'll see it tomorrow?0 -
I've always found Tesco to be great. Anything wrong quickly sorted. Once I complianed that the toilet roll picture on the web showed 2 free but wasnt delivered that way. They refunded the price of the toilet rolls no problem. Once my frozen stuff wasnt delivered and they refunded the delivvery charge.
The only thing I definately do not like is the guide price at the end. It really should be able to calculate the price with the bogofs so the price you see is the price you pay.
I dont actually shop online much now as when I go to Tesco theres always quite a lot of reduced bread etc and it works out cheaper overall but the last two Christmases it has saved me the stress and queues of going to the shop. The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0 -
Hi
We have used Tesco for over 12 months and have had quite a few problems.
Items missing, lots of times, always refunded quickly.
Low sell by dates, we always ask for long sell by dates on cooked meats etc for sandwiches, many times we have received goods on the friday which are then out of date by the sunday, always refunded, but extra visit to local co op.
late/early delivery times
Other peoples shopping! twice
We have now become membrs of Costco and do a big shop there monthly, huge savings.

I have stopped as well. Not worth the hasstle. I`m going to stop using tesco for much of my stuff. I can get most of my organic groceries p+p free from goodness direct. Organic fruit and veg boxes from riverford. Meat from various reliable internet suppliers. Fish from Martins seafresh. Bulk toilet rolls from makro. newsagents etc all within cycling distance0

well its happened. i got by money back at last, although the refunds didn't quite match the amounts debited, plus they said they had credited me back £15.00 extra for my trouble, which i have had to email them about because its not appeared. plus i got a £15.00 voucher to use on my next shop.
Thanks Tesco0
