You can leave a response to his feedback - something along the lines of "tw**" would seem appropriate (i know you will need to be more restrained than that).

Yes you are. Often peeps post sellers / buyers to avoid so we can put on all our blocked list.

The comment, reply or follow-up references a completely separate transaction or unrelated experience.

It may be worth posting a link to their "feedback left for others" page - we can judge for ourselves whether we would want to deal with them or not, without anyone being judgemental or incriminating.

I'd have ignored it and just posted the item, feedback is an aside. If someone's acting a little screwy it's better to keep it simple and move onto the next thing.
