Best place for laptop batteries??

calling on my ole faithfulls here!! In urgent need of a new battery for my laptop - died one week out of the 6mth guarantee so PB won't replace it - cheapest I can find is £84 plus VAT!!!! The laptop is a Packard Bell Easynote R4, the battery is the BP-8050 - can anyone help find one cheaper?? ty

    I bought a replacement battery a few years back for a notebook and it worked fine (lasted longer than the original). Unfortunately I have since rebuilt the computer and have lost my 'favourites'. I think it might have been called batteryguru or batteryforce.

    yep! that was my first port of call but you can only buy from abroad and I don't want to risk that - there is someone selling a used one on there now, but I'm not risking that either!!
