can you use a tesco voucher to get into thorpe park then buy a merlin pass for £750

there are no restrictions at chessington, so merlin passes/tickets can be used anytime
if there are restrictions, your tickets would have them listed on it, as the ticket you refer to, sound like the ones Legoland give out, which allow you to return to the park for an additional day, free0 -
i wonder if i could pick one up from alton towers..do you think it's worth ringing thorpe park and asking them...would be nearer for me to go0

The worst thing about this is my daughter wanted to go on Sunday (just gone) to the fright night but under the annual pass £5 section the tickets were all booked...if going through the full price fright night tickets booking all dates were there! What a con.......thought annual pass holders were supposed to have extra benefits.
there was a problem when they first issued them! she did not need to buy a pre book ticket for the 18th! they changed there minds and say you now only need to buy a ticket if visiting during half term so get 1 booked if going then, up until friday i think you dont need 1 but you have to hope the park is not full when you arrive0 -
So now I am well confused with the restrictions:rolleyes: I have merlin chessington tickets bought off ebay they say comp 09 valid for 1 use between 28/03 and 02/11/09 guest recovery on them so was going this sunday in their halloween week am I allowed to use them or do I have to pay more? Are they only valid for normal days?
there probably valid unless theres exclusion dates printed on them! if they say you cant come in and theres no restrictions on them tell them they cant because of driving time etc but they should be ok0 -

not that i know of, because yes you can get the passes at thorpe park atm seperate at £75 each but its sounding like you must buy park entry first family of 4 even on offer £60-£70+0 -

i have heard on towers times some people have been posted them being told to pick up at any park half price but i dont know if its true, you could try but thorpes apparently saying theres no such offer when there phoned but there is, so you would probably have to try at alton on the day first?0 -

So wish I had known that before! She has booked the tickets this Sunday now which has cost £11.50 for 2. She only has Sunday off and wasn't busy last week. Thorpe Park will be mobbed this weekend too. Thanks for letting me know though.0 -

Expect to be security scanned when entering as they check whoever they want bags + clothes,
If shes going for the mazes make sure shes in the queue for the asylum first at about 330pm as thats the best and the 1 that will have the longest queue at about 6pm will be 2 hour+long! but will be about 1hour long by 4pm, it is the only way to see all mazes next recommended is se7ven which is normally the second longest at about 1hr 30+ then hellgate at about 1hour and about the same for the curse, expect rides queues at about 1hour 30 mins+ and saw the ride will be 2hour + easy, the rides should be quieter at about 6pm when the mazes get full but expect saw to stay at a constant 2 hour due to people walking through the queues in costume, arrive when opened for a maximum day or there is very little chance of moneys worth but also sometimes in the mazes there is more action than at other times eg during changeovers they dont close them0
