If you are buying for five people you can get a family pass for £76.80 per person (£384) direct from Merlin.

Edit - The above price is based on a pass for two adults and three children.0 -
How odd just rang the Merlin Annual pass helpline on 08714 232230 and spoke to a lady who had no details of this half price Merlin pass offer. She also rang and checked directly with customer/information services in Thorpe Park and the only offer on is 2 for the price of one annual Thorpe Park passes. They informed her the annual Merlin pass is being sold at normal price.0

Only one of the information booths in Thorpe Park have it advertised and the SA had to ring her manager to confirm0

On Clubcard you need £37.50 per pass? No family deals on Clubcard.
sorry please correct me if i am wrong as maths was never my strongest point but is this right. It going to cost 37.50 each for one pass which you need in club card vouchers so mulitpying that by 4 equals 150 pound in club card vouchers 5 pound in club card vouchers gives you 20 pound in club card deals so my calculations gives me 18.75 on my card once put into club card deals will give me enough to buy a annual pass for four of us, I know through that you have to pay individual and not as a family. Please if i am wrong i would be grateful if you put me right as really want this next year so if someone can correct me then that would be greatA bargin is only a bargin if its needed not wanted :money:0 -

The £37.50 is before they are converted. It's a buy in full deal so doesn't get converted but you need £150 in clubcard vouchers before conversion to Deals for 4 Merlin Passes, which if converted into Days Out Deals tokens would give you £600. Buying Merlin Passes it's not worth that as a family of 4 Merlin Pass bought online from their website only costs £320. So Merlin Passes are not such a good deal through Clubcard as they once were, depending of course what else you'd like to spend your Clubcard points on.0 -

Yeh your right, i just rang and they explained it, they said yes 5 pound normally would give you 20 pound in club card deals but that price is what it will cost so thanks everyone for putting me right. As for buying the merlin pass looking in the reward book there is nothing really i would go and spend it for and this i really fancy. So the fact i am doing a shop in tesco anyway and the points are just a bonus i dont mind doing it because as i see it a merlin pass for the 4 of us and not having to pay a penny is a bargin even though it would go furthur if i spent it on something else but its the whole of summer next year sorted so that my goal is to get enough for next year :beer:A bargin is only a bargin if its needed not wanted :money:0 -

Just goes to show the appalling level of communication really
I saw this with my own eyes last Weds evening - I know it's true because at first glance I couldn't believe it so stood and read the sign! It is in the building you walk through to get into the actual park, at the far end is a desk which sells bounce back tickets etc and the sign is clearly visible there. I am taking the kids again after school tomorrow, I will see if it is still there and try and take a piccy to post
Just on a side note, if you are planning to go to Thorpe Park to take advantage of this offer it is strictly by booking only from 24/10-1/11 because of the popularity of the Fright Nights (I would not even consider going then - the queues for the mazes average around 2 1/2 hours ) Even Annual Pass holders have to book and pay a £5 fee.0
