    Oh I forgot to tell you
    WW3 broke out in Valliland this morning. Those of you who've read my [STRIKE]ramblings[/STRIKE] well thought out and pertinent posts in the past will recall the ongoing battle I have with DS to put his dirty school uniform (and all clothes requiring laundering) in the wash basket. Well last night he did.
    And at 5.00 am this morning a sleepy Valli woke up and decided to put another load in the washer, in order to benefit from cheap overnight leccy.
    Turns out he had put his school trousers in the basket and I put them in the washing machine.
    EVERY PAIR HE HAS:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
    so after lots of 'well I can't go to school then' and offers of 'I'll write you a note' he went in pinstriped (I think!) trousers! Without a note.
    (I went back to bed until the storm blew over;))
    Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

    Well maybe he'll learn the next lesson... put them in when they need washing, and don't leave it till the last minute (I can't believe you offered to write a note - what was it going to say :D:p)

    Dunno really - never thought it through. I was NOT going to take the blame though - probably would have been a diatribe against !!!!less teenagers who think clothes dumped ion the floor are cleaned ane put back in the wardrobes by house-elves or fairies.
    I also told him that I would not phone school if he didn't go...it would have gone down as an unauthorised absence, then!

    the !!!! are for F-E-C-K

    GOOD GRIEF!

    He's already 'missed' having stuff washed because it didn't go in the laundry and had to wear dirty, unwashed stuff. Yuk at football socks worn 3 times!!!

    HHC at 2pm anyone? Please?

    HM chicken soup ready for tea and smells delish ***licks lips***

  • Valli - I've had this same [STRIKE]arguement[/STRIKE] adult discussion with all my three over the years. The solution:

    Let the little gets do their own washing and ironing, after all if they are big ennough to argue the toss they are big enough to 'man up' and do their own. All were about 15/16 when I threw in the towel one by one and said ennough is ennough

    Choccybix - inlaws - who'd have them eh? Well done for sticking up for DH x
