Been working hard on french presentation, and had all sorts of year abroad meetings, the general gist of which are if you don't have a good CV, you have no chance. So every spare minute has been spent writing that..
(((hugs))) Carol - I hope things improve for your dad. Try to find some space and have some time to yourself - even a quick walk and some fresh air can help. As for the year abroad, what kind of thing do you want to do and where do you want to go? I can put some feelers out, and I'm sure that there are other flyladies with French connectionsPenelope_Penguin wrote: »The post has been; I thought they were on strikeThe Amazon parcel I ordered yesterday, that they said they'd post on the 26th, has arrived

Note to self p34The next appointment he could give us is in four weeks time to which I said we would not wait that long and we wouldn't leave the clinic until we had an appointment within the next 7 days. I was asked to wait in the waiting room which I refused to do (my theory being if I held up the clinic they might do something!!). I was right - we were slotted into a clinic at 430 today. He has to have more tests tomorrow. The new doctor we saw couldn't understand why he's been left in pain for so long...hello! isn't that what I keep saying!!!! He's having a camera tomorrow or Friday.

DS's tests done. Waiting to hear the results - hopefully early next week. He finally got to sleep at 2am this morning so he's off today as he's shattered.
Flying - I really need to do some.
I also need to polish my accounts for the accountant. They're all done I just need to present them a bit better - they're submitted electronically so no rush but I like to get them in.
