  • pigpen Now I know if we nag you there is a strong possibilty that you end up doing nothing so I am just giving you my view/thoughts/witterings on the situation and you can digest
Your health is important to you and your family.
Af is not going to go away by herself (well its unlikely)
The continual loss of blood is detremental to your health and wellbeing
You are missing out on Uni and you worked very hard to get that place and we are very proud of you
So basically what I think I am trying to say is can you just grit your teeth and go to an appointment and get it done - i am assuming they plan to cauterize you so it should be a straightforward procedure.

Pigpen - hugs to you whether you want them or not. I know exactly where you're coming from about not going to the hospital because I avoided getting any treatment for years so I'm not the person to lecture you into going (not that you'd listen anyway). The only thing I will say is that my children have both said they prefer the mum they have now, after treatment, to the one they had before because I was always tired, in pain etc. I also prefer how I am now and it's only after having treatment that I realise how much it affected me before. I hope the hospital can come up with a better time for you and you get all this sorted soon xx
PigPen - I second what toots said. Get their tomorrow for 8, OH will just have to cope, if the kids miss school for a day, so what. You are far more important. You can't carry on like this, you know that really. Do the right thing for your health and s#d the rest. put yourself 1ST for once, otherwise you'l be no use to man nor beast.
    ^^^^Wot they said^^^^

Just had phone call from hairdresser - could she move app forward this afternoon - explained that even the time she had given me was not ideal. So now going on Fri morning.
Which doesn't sound a big deal - but it does mean I only have one 'thing' to do this afternoon then I can come straight home :T (and dry off - rain obviously on for day)

Piggers my worry is do they know what is causing your problem? Yes and have done since July. Like LL said health is so important and I don't mean to be harsh but being stubborn is hurting nobody but yourself. What did they say about you turning up after 9? they said they'd send me home! If they implied it would be fine then ok but if not you will simply be wasting your time and winding yourself up more by going at that time. I hear what you say about the dreadful treatment you have had in the past and you must so hate going there but do you have a sensible choice?

There is no choice at all.

Mine haven't even noticed!! lol.. they are pretty oblivious to all but that which drops on their heads.. they have had a pretty rough time this year though so I can understand.

OH would not cope that is the whole point.. plus they aren't his children so it would be quite wrong to inflict them on him.

They don't miss school.. EVER.. any of them... unless dead.. It is also the harvets festival for the 2 littlest tomorrow as well.. DD5's first 'big' assembly so I REALLY want to be there.

Hopefully I can get to speak to someone sensible on the ward in the morning

    1. [STRIKE] Make Christmas Chutney (Wed)[/STRIKE]
Made at long last :D All maturing now ready for the end of the year ;)

Better go and photo the juicer now for ebay and then finish off the spare room tidy.

Then LR and bedroom (apart from bedding)

    Big hugs for everyone.

Lots of us seem down in the mega dumps at the moment.

If taking AD and they are not working then it may be worth discussing with your GP as there are so many on the market and not all suit all.

Catch up with you all later on today :T

  • Haha just read my horoscope it said:-

    October 21, 2009

    Libra icon_calendar.gifSept. 23 - Oct 22

Issues surrounding communications seem to be affecting you today, Libra. These are things like service outages, hardware issues with the phone, phone tag, people not responding to email on a timely basis and so forth. The good news is that these things will be resolved before the end of the day, and there is very little chance that any negative impact will be felt in your financial life. A friend may be feeling a little down today: it would be good to check in with them. Curb your spending: if you must by anything, buy groceries for entertaining.

Hummm hope the "very little chance that any negative impact will be felt in your financial life" comes true.

Anyway got bread rolls ready to go into the oven soon, vegi burgers all made, apple crumble in the oven and kitchen all back to being clean and tidy. Got 1 load in the WM and another to follow. Off to start the kids rooms.

    Be back later
